That in itself was extraordinary - Izzy didn't like to text anyone, because it was like talking to them, and Izzy didn't like to talk to anyone, either. Secondly, they'd talked about kissing, and feelings. Thirdly, they'd arranged to meet up again, and to going camping together. All three of these were awful and bad, and Izzy really wished they hadn't happened.[break][break] Despite that, though, he had diligently picked out things that might be useful out in the wilderness, dressed appropriately, and read and re-read his week-old conversation with Vic to make sure he hadn't missed anything. In a way he wasn't going to admit to himself, he was pretty excited. He'd grown up in the dirtiest, dankest parts of a bustling city - camping was not an experience he'd ever really had, not like this.[break][break] The spot is all picked out - Vic knows the area like the back of his hand, after all - and they'd agreed to meet there. As he arrives, Izzy can feel his heart pounding in his chest - what if this was just some big prank? What if Vic was going to text him a quick gotcha! and laugh at him for being stupid and gullible?
