Temp calls back the Mudbray, he was only borrowing it after all, and tosses out a Flareon. His canines didn't get as much battling experience as his Gym pokemon, but it seemed unwise to toss out about a bunch of fish against a pokemon that was most likely Grass type. Also, no ponds up here.

The Flareon shakes himself out, just in time to be barraged by the Seed Flare. He cries out, huffing, and fluffs himself up before exhaling a Smog cloud. With luck, he can slow down the hedgehog as maybe add a bit of poison. Similar to Gavin's plans.

Cryogonal is quick, but the little hedgehog is quicker. It nimbly sidesteps the attack, turning to fire another barrage of seeds toward its icy opponent. Though the Cryogonal resists the attack, even the resolute Shadow Pokémon won't be able to keep this up indefinitely.

Frowning, Gavin allows his miasma to flow from him in earnest, swirling around the makeshift battlefield like morning fog.

"Just be careful of the plants, still," he cautions, pulling the miasma in from the edges in order to expose the precious points they most protect. Long-term use of the ability has taught him to hone it well. He clicks his tongue.
