Damage control was such a sad duty. It just meant someone else had failed already and the best you could do was to mitigate the effects of their screw-up, instead of attaining anything of value. She’d done something similar in the past, with electric rodents, and she had dealt with Porygons as well during her own recruitment. She should check up on that Glitch person at some point, really. But that was neither here nor there. In the then and there, some Pokemon needed to be taken care of.

And there was someone else to work with her. Violet immediately, but covertly seized the other up, when her eyes reached the frame. That was just how she approached everyone and everything. Her Poipole, hovering behind her, was smirking to itself once it noticed two Pokemon that it could do some serious damage to, but she kept it in check for now. “Violet,” the trainer then replied, describing a brief curtsey while forming an immediate opinion of the other. Soft, though not necessarily with regards to combat, mature and probably picking out Pokemon for aesthetics, rather than power. That was quite nice. She could relate. “Yes, we cannot have them running around causing chaos, nor escape. Hence, it is due time for their re-capture now.”

“Probably not. These Pokemon probably do not know what they are trying to do themselves, after all,” she replied, lightly shrugging, before pulling out two Pokeballs of her own. Poipole was here, yes, but she wanted it to watch and learn most of all. If something attacked them, it would get to work of course. But other than that, she had a very different strategy in mind to begin with.

Instead of fighters and the like, she instead chose two Normal types. Well, one was also kind of a Fairy, but she had not chosen them for cuteness or anything like that. No, her Cinccino and Cleffa were here specifically because they were the best Pokemon she had at a different kind of activity.
Namely, both of them were good at using Sing at useful volumes despite their small frames. Poipole quickly put something in its ears – Violet didn’t really know what that was and found that klack of knowledge to be a good thing – while the other two took center stage. “Just keep singing until they are all asleep. We don’t need to defeat them all. Just capturing them will be a lot easier when they are incapacitated otherwise,” she ordered, half also informing her partner of her strategy. This was something that could be easily messed up without communication, after all, and she kind of wanted this to work first thing.

It would all become a complete mess if they tried both tactics at once, at least in the extreme. Though these fighters protecting the singers until they had it all under control? That could certainly work, too.

“Oh, right. Would not want a repeat of that tower,” she replied, thinking back on that annoying challenge. Well, it was done now at least. And she should have learned that misty terrain was an annoyance when dealing with sleep. But she just was not quite as attentive to her partner’s moves here than she had been during the challenge.

However, now that she was paying attention, she watched closely as her partner changed up her team. “I say the word is concert, because that is what we are going to hold then~.” That should be the cue for both her Pokemon to start their auditory onslaught on the audacious digitales. Alongside that sleeping powder, they should be able to incapacitate a good number of them right away indeed. There probably would be some resistant to those dreamy charms, meaning there might still be need for combat thereafter.

Heh. Praise. That was always good. Violet wanted the other to just keep it coming, naturally, but even a little was fine. After all, this woman had that ‘refined lady’ air about herself, the kind that she herself usually tried to, but could not always nail down. The other seemed to have it down naturally, but that was probably due to her being simply older. That made it a lot easier to just be mature. Violet certainly hoped to eventually fill out more like this one, too, when it came to proper maturity.

“Indeed. Though that means those remaining are likely all the fiercer,” she noted, before releasing yet another Pokeball. An Eevee emerged, a young one, still undecided what it may evolve into to begin with. “Let’s see if you have learned more about Love and Hate by now. Try to use it, Eevee,” she ordered and the little one started forwards, cautiously. It stopped, inhaled, closed its eyes and concentrated.

Then it conjured up the winds of love and hate around the remaining Porygon, seeking to drown them in the Springtide Storm, its eyes glowing as pink as said winds.

This worked reasonably well. Honestly, Violet had no idea if this was how a mastered Springtime Storm looked or not. The lady that had taught it to Eevee had completely disappeared mere moments after giving preliminary instructions, alongside that love and hate talk. Eevee could at least unleash it, yes, but beyond that? It was unclear if this was a true one yet.

But at least it was sufficiently devastating for the job, subduing the remaining feisty Porygon by whirling them around and hitting them with oddly coloured energy. It was effective, even though it might not yet be perfect. However, this was still wearing Eevee out, so she recalled it first thing, just in case.

After that, it was just catching a lot of Porygon for the Rocket. Or rather, re-capturing them. Not like they would get to keep any of them, but that had been expected of course. That was why she had looked into Porygons first, deciding she didn’t much like those to begin with. Didn’t feel bad to capture but not be allowed to keep them.

“Don’t mention it. This was our duty, after all,” she replied, haughtily, but not as stilted as someone who just parodying the role would do. She was playing that role, yes, but she preferred to think that she was living it. “And yes, we did do well. If you ever require assistance again and think I could help, feel free to ask. I have not been in Rocket for too long, but I am always ready to help improving the organisation and furthering its goals.”
