From the water, Temp's Carracosta used Iron Defense to raise back up the vulnerability from that previous Shell Smash.

A Pidgey landed next to Temp. Him and the pokemon looked at each other for a few seconds, studying.

A rock sailed over the Pidgey's head, a failed Smack Down. This startled the Pidgey enough that it flew off.

Temp snorted and glanced into the water, eying his pokemon.

"Territorial, eh?"

PASSING

A Palpitoad splashes away, no doubt bothered by the disturbance. Temp doesn't notice it and neither do his pokemon. Carracoasta breaches the water and Temp laughs, leaning over to give her a little pat on her stony head. Silly turtle.

In the water, hanging out in the shade under the Wailmer, Temp's Huntail Coils in on itself. It watches the retreating figure of the Palpitoad as it fades into the blue.

PASSING

Okay we can squeeze in one last endeavor here.

A Wingull flew over before circling around. Much like the Pidgey before, she found that Temp and Velma were the perfect perch. She landed directly on the human's head, letting our a shrill squawk when she did so.

Temp wrinkled his nose but raised a hand to stop his Carracosta from trying to bean it with a rock. He didn't want a broken nose if she missed.

He thought deeply about the differences between girl and boy Wingulls... was there any gender differences? What about Pelliper? Maybe he would need to look into it deeper.

Either way, he tossed a pokemon at the Wingull after it started to make a nest in his hair.
