Eva has never pried into their relationship: Fernando and Matias’s. It’s hard to ignore the sneer. She frowns, subtly shaking her head. He’ll have to collaborate with him eventually. Eva has, though their professional relationship still remains shallow, nothing too deep. Illeana worked with him and Silph Co. more.

Speaking with Smohke again isn’t a bad idea. Eva considers it, and nods, “You’re right, perhaps we should set up a meeting . . . And probably ask Fernando what he learned from her,” she smiles, passing the baton over to Matias, “Lemme know when you talk to him!”

So far, from what she could tell, the Sea Queen had yet to make an appearance. Understandable since she was the only royalty left after the unfortunate death of the Sea King Kazimir.

“He can be . . .” How does Eva put this professionally, “A little too stoic,” stuck up? Condescending at times? Eva doesn’t have too much experience working with him. Perhaps it’s because of her relationship with Matias that Fernando shies away from her and leans more towards Illeana. Regardless, Eva doesn’t mind.

”Hm,” Eva grunts in frustration, her mind wandering towards the same conclusion as Matias, she just voices it, “They’re testing their boundaries,” How far is their Hoenn willing to go to protect their borders? Their home? It’s unlikely they found out about the meteor . . . unless someone or something else had told them. Perhaps she needs more information on the meteor. Astrology isn’t her thing but surely the Mossdeep Space Station had someone she could speak with. Her mind flicks briefly towards Dr. Holo.

Eva chooses not to comment on the Fernando thing any longer. Getting tangled in their sibling rivalry was not on her to do list while she had so much more on her plate, “We need to find a way to seal these unstable portals,” while their physics remains a mystery, so to does any chance at repairing their dimension, “We gotta find the source of all this energy . . .” as long as it runs unchecked, Hoenn sits in the spotlight of all those wishing to drain it for their own – Megalopians for example.

relief comes when eva doesn't push any further. his dynamic with his brother has always been complicated and it always will be. there's no mending what is already broken.[break][break]

Her specialty . . . it really isn’t None of this is. She’s a healer. She wasn’t trained in physics or astrology or even the detail of battling. Sure, she was in the army, but her specialty was saving lives, not taking them.

Eva is about just as anxious as Virizion when Matias approaches the portal. She’s knows him well enough to know what he’s about to do, “Be careful,” she whispers when he turns to look at her.

She holds her breath for a moment, only to let it out in a long, disappointed sigh when his hand peeks out the other wide. Her lips twist into a frown, and she stalks to the other side to inspect it, “Ugh, that’s frustrating,” another question to add to the ever growing list: How could they possible make it one way?

“Sea!Hoenn doesn’t see advanced enough to know how to do that. I wonder if they’re getting help,” from Megalopolans? Assassins? Someone who wants Hoenn distracted while they let their nefarious plan unfold.
