The hunt for more pokemon . . . it never ends. Eva is still hunting for Unown. Perhaps she needs to shift her focus for a moment so she can have some sort of counter if she runs into Bryan again.

When the topic shifts, she shifts against him as well, scooting a bit closer to rest comfortably against his chest. It doesn’t take her long to remember the brief conversation. It was mostly in passing.

The thought does make her smile, back on a ranch out in nature, away from the city. It reminds her of her childhood. It’s more private, especially now that they are both quite public figures.

all of the things they need considering their status in the league as well as what they have (had?) planned for the future. a ranch like that sounds perfect.[break][break]

it might not make a huge difference, but the house in lilycove feels more like his than theirs. they've redecorated, she's made it theirs, but something about it still feels slightly off.[break][break]

a new home means a new start. the prospect of it, whether it be a ranch or otherwise excites him.[break][break]

Blade would likely not be thrilled to be moving back but that’s something she can deal with later. Although her rarely objects to her decisions, she can still feel the disapproval radiating off him. It’s easy enough to shrug off for a while.

Eva’s already sick of this place. It reminds her too much of her time during the Kanto war and all the heart-breaking news she had to deliver to trainers who lost their pokemon; All the one she couldn’t save.

"Sounds great, what're you gonna make me?" before Matias can answer, the door opens. The nurse frowns upon entry, as if he had already had several conversations in regards to the same topic with Eva. The man seems frustrated. Veterinarians were really the worst patients.

Eva smiles brightly at him and points towards Matias, “See! Told ya there was someone to take me home!” she had already been stitched and bandaged up and prescribed her medications. All that was left was to make sure she didn’t have a concussion.

’She’s gotta stay awake for another 8 hours,’ the nurse relays to Matias in a stern voice before turning on his heels to let the doctor know Eva would be ready for discharge, “That’s Finn, he’s really nice.”

Eva looks at Matias with the most innocent of smiles, utterly shocked he would make such an accusation, “Nothing, of course!” Except talk his ears off and pester him for discharge as he bandaged up some of her wounds. She may have given a little constructive criticism along the way. It would only make him better in the long run!
