Fighting is really not his forte. [break][break]

Not really anyway, yet it didn't stop his parents from teaching him. Yet as he grew older it became unavoidable, and now he has partners that love it. Cedar in particular was very energetic and always wanted action. It was why Razz signed him up for this competition. Honestly he was nervous about the crowd cheering. [break][break]

Though Cedar was eating it up as he wave to the crowd before punching the air in front of him. A wordless way to tell his opponent to get ready before going in to strike at high speed with ACROBATICS.

It had taken A LOT of practice with Freddy in the bathroom to perfect his resting bitch face and even the slight one side of the mouth twitch that just barely revealed teeth to match his pokemon. Freddy had been ADAMANT. This was all about attitude. Leave the fighting to him, that's what he'd seemed to care about. Of course. Lana had gone along, easily coaxed despite his embarrassment to something cool and collected. Though, tough? Tough was hard. Bratty? That was probably a better word.

Instead of his pokemon's tell tale grimace, as the Scrafty sauntered onto the stage backed by his theme song, Ruslan stepped after him smirking at the crowd and lazily waving as Freddy made his way into the center of ring towards his opponent, posing for the crowd as well by crossing his arms. Behind him Ruslan takes his hands slowly out of his pockets and copied the same. At Cedar's punch, Freddy doesn't move and Lana swore he felt a bead of sweat trickle down the back of his neck despite refusing to break character. As Cedar zooms in, he doesn't even try to dodge, taking the hit. Except, he angles his body so when he gets hit, he spun around and lifted a leg to slam back at the bear cub with PAYBACK intent of sending back their power two fold. Freddy's hands, all throughout this stay holding his skin pants. "Tch."

And then a quick jut of his chin to signify 'Come at me.'

Well at least one of them was having fun. The younger man thinks to himself as their opponent smirks and waves to the crowd. Crowd seemed to love it at least, wonder if the crowd being on their side would end up effecting's Cedar's mood. Only time would tell. [break][break]

And while he grunts while kicked he is able to keep focused as it flips hands first and back to his feet. A smirk on his little face as he was more than willing to go for the taunt. Diving in and striking with a series of three punches before going in with an IRON HEAD.

Freddy isn't one to shy away fro mthe crowd, holding out his hands and gesturing upwards as if to try to get the crowd to scream louder. He swayed almost lazily back to Cedar watching and then holding out a hand before silently going, 'Come at me.' [break][break]

Freddy does his best to block, his more laidback style strugglign ot keep up with Cedar's speed but when he saw the head rear back, Freddy does as well matching the little bear's attack with his own HEAD SMASH.

Heads clash and kubfu is determined ot keep on going as he does recoil back a bit. But not long enough to stop his momentum as he attempts to go for a KNOCKOUT ROUND striking again and again before ending with a THUNDER PUNCH.

Lana isn't quite a capable enough actor to keep up the smug, arrogant brat act for very long. When Cedar engaged and he heard the bells going off for the fabled KNOCKOUT ROUND, he dropped character and tensed before relaxing. [break][break]

Freddy had it covered. Despite his nonchalance, Freddy wanted to win, and he wouldn't let a little bear cub push him around. Once again, undeterred by sparks, Freddy reeled back like he was about to throw a haymaker. He doesn't flinch, letting Cedar move in close before he popped back at the last second meeting the cub's attack with FOCUS PUNCH once more, relentlessly trying to steal the spotlight back.

First clash and Cedar does feel as behind as before. Hopefully his momentum will be better. The encouraging claps that come from his trainer give Cedar the confidence to keep going. Their Rapid Style of striking going in as strike after strike the bear cub doesn't let up.

Freddy reeled back, holding his head trying to dodge the relentless attacked. He didn't want to let up, unwilling to let the flow of battle change just yet. He kept dodging before suddenly standing still and letting the cub beat him. As soon as the punch hits, he aimed an uppercut back with PAYBACK intent on trying to deal back the hit he'd taken.

The Upper cut lands on his chin and knocks the smaller cub up. Though this was not going to be over so easily. Not as long as the cub had energy. And unluckily for their opponent he was like a rushing river that kept going and going. Spinning in the air before using gravity to come on down to try and land a strike.

Freddy couldn't shake him. Even with a the hits, Cedar was still kicking. Or well, punching. Both really. He made a SCARY FACE in an attmept to slow the bear down and keep the distance. Freddy goes for a leg sweep, eager to pin the bear and get some rapid hits in of his own.

The Scary Face does make the young cub falter some. Enough to be tripped up as he is knocked off his feet. Cedar rolling out of the way of the newer blows. "Slow down and focus," Razz tries to give some advice. Knowing the cub was far too head in with no thoughts. [Break][break]

and while reluctant, Cedar does take a moment to take a breath to DETECT Whatever might come next.

Freddy doesn't stop the violent assault, and instead locks in on Cedar. "C'mon! FRE-DY FRE-DY FRE-DY!" Lana called out, chanting his partner's name as the Scrafty put in the speed he hadn't know the pokemon to have. The nonchalance and swaying swaps abruptly once more as Freddy tried to move in for a juke before thrusting a jabbed hand out with BRICK BREAK as he tried to go for the KO.

The chanting picks up with some people in the crowd and normally it would work Cedar. Though doing as his trainer said and taking that moment to calm the mind to focus has helped with tuning them out. [Break][break]

As the Brick Break comes at him Cedar strikes back with a DYNAMIC PUNCH to clash fist with the other.
