Field Sampling (Duo Wild)

Amelia scooped up the second Poke Ball, and her second catch of the day. Both of these Pokemon would likely prove useful to her future goals as a Pokemon Ranger. Giving her more options in the future to deal with dangerous situations, or so she hoped. Maybe with a little more training, especially, the wild Cramorant.
She has also, once again, failed to notice the activities of the little alien who stood behind them. Silently, or so it seemed to Amelia, catching just as many Pokemon as she was. The young Ranger turned to Altagracia and smiled, once more. “I look forward to the day I am able to help you with your research. Please, call me or the Rangers, if you do need any help. I would be more than happy to offer any assistance, I can.” Amelia bowed her head, twice.
As she did, so, something burst out of the water. Deluging her in river water from head to toe. She screamed from the sudden cold, jumped backwards. Her uniform while waterproof electronically, didn’t prove to be warming when wet. Shivering and dripping from her visor; Amelia turned to look to see what had splashed her.
It was another Pokemon. This made six sudden appearances and a third for Amelia. This one was a fish. A very large bright blue fish. Although parts of it seemed to be luminous, as the head stalk glowed faintly as did the fins. "Rotom, scan!"
“Scanning! Scanning!” Rotom said, as the emoticon face appeared across the visor. “Lanturn! Light Pokemon. It’s Water/Electric Type! It blinds prey with an intense burst of light. With the prey incapacitated, the Pokémon swallows it in a single gulp.”
“Oh wow. I mean. Oh no, you can’t breathe out of the water. I better get you back in the water now.” She said, bending down to take a closer look at the sparkling fish, or should that be sparking…
As she bent down, it seemed to charge itself with electrical energy that prevented Amelia from touching the forlorn and seemingly trapped fish. “I’ll try and catch you instead! How about that? Look if you let me catch you. I’ll make sure you survive and have a nice home, somewhere, with nicer, deeper water. Okay?”
The Lanturn looked at Amelia for a second, not sure if it could trust this human. But, it seemed like it had no choice. Amelia bent down, drew out another Poke Ball from her gauntlet, and pushed it into the fish's side, very softly. “Don’t worry, I’ll give you the best care too. Just like your friends! I got you!”
She smiled, and the fish vanished into the familiar white light which was drawn into the Poke Ball. “Phew. I’m glad it’s safe, but, that wasn’t so fun,” she said, looking up at Altagracia with a forlorn expression as the ball shook at her feet.
