Temporary? Seriously? Melody was annoyed but it was just a draft right? It could be altered, or at least she kept telling herself that. [break][break]

It wasn't satisfactory however for Melody's partner. It intended to make it's will known, a hoof stomp demands the attention of everyone in the room as Cobalion was NOT satisfied with such a vague answer. Despite not speaking, his frustration is made known by his actions as he stares down Dahlia.. [break][break]

"Cobalion hold on. Let her get the answer to her question first." she tells him as it begrudgingly obliges to her request and steps back slightly.

While the blade of her gaze was smooth, Cobalion's was razor sharp, clearly not satisfied with these wishy washy answers. [break][break]

"No." she answers sternly, was Cobalion's emotions influencing her own? "And quite frankly, neither am I." she answers Dahlia as both of them are quite upset with her response. [break][break]

"He and I both want to know exactly what his punishment going to entail, so far you've basically only given him a slap on the wrist." she says annoyed, she wasn't the most perceptive in the world but it was obvious she cared more about Groudon than the implications of his actions. [break][break]

"I don't believe Matias didn't predict Relicanth's death. He knows what happens when a primal quartz is activated, he knew how much of Relicanth's body was covered in that stuff. How can you sit there and say you had no idea Matias? You aren't as stupid as you're trying to convince us you are, your significant other just released a fucking research paper on it." she said turning towards him. [break][break]

"I just think he didn't care for the repercussions at all, he didn't even tell YOU about his plans, Dahlia, he wanted to ask for forgiveness instead of permission."

she looks to matias. blue eyes trace the red shards, taking inventory of their shape. their cut. their hue.[break][break]

"matias, you are to stay here at the league until this matter is processed." the commissioner says. "melody, you are welcome to stay, but you can trust the league to see this through. however," her voice hardens, "despite the tragedy that has befallen your relicanth and the brash actions of matias, we have to remember that we need make an effort for resolution. tearing ourselves apart now will accomplish nothing, especially with meteno on the way."[break][break]

her mr. rime opens the door.[break][break]

"for now, you are dismisssed, melody. unless you would like to stay. i can connect you with resources for grief within this building, should you talk to my secretary, Priya Kosch outside." dahlia says. "matias, you will be transferred first to the medical and science wing as we lay out the precise details of your suspension."[break][break]

and the matter of matias' avatarship will come to light too.

She raises her hands as if she was ready to slam on the table, but moments before the slap would land. She stops herself as she feels it spreading from her neck and she stops herself. She stares at the table for a moment before silently standing up. [break][break]

Cobalion closes his eyes for a moment and lowers his head. "That will not be necessary." she says rather coldly as she turns her back on the comissioner and walks towards the door and stops in the doorway for a moment. Placing a hand on the doorway as she turns her head back toward dahlia, opening her mouth as if she was about to speak. [break][break]

Yet no words are spoken, she silences herself and walks on. Cobalion stares at Dahlia for mere moments as an angry glare flashes across his face and he turns his head and walks behind Melody. [break][break]

As they began to leave the compound Melody speaks to cobalion. "Don't worry. This is not over."
