After deciding to not do anything with the empty nests just yet. They both moved on to the next nest. Elinor found another empty nest, which her Pokémon quickly but gently took down. She was about to start on another one when Noah claimed her attention once more.

She walked over to Noah, letting her Pokémon continue doing their job as best they could. She listened to his worries. And found them rather valid. Luckily for him, she had been brushing up on her general Pokémon knowledge lately, Pidgey and its evolutionary line being the primary topic.

“As long as we put it somewhere nearby, the parent should be able to find it. Pidgey and its evolutionary line make their nests in the middle of their territory.” She informed. “Though the lack of a parent, is curious.” She mumbled. Her eyes started to look at the sky.

“If we are to move it, we should probably hurry, you never know when their parents might return,” Elinor suggested. Remembering all too vividly how the books had spoken of the Pidgot's predatory nature and how valiantly it defended its territory. “I will watch for returning parents.” Though she doubted how much that’d help given the speed a fully evolved Pidgot could fly at.

Thankfully Elinor was the smarter of the two in the situation and had kept up with her studies of the creatures they had to protect and help. Noah should really take the girl as a valid example of a Ranger who should honestly be leagues above himself at this point and he was truly fine with that, it was nice to still have someone to look up to in the terms of a job.

With the utmost care Noah would pick up the nest making sure that it wouldn't dismantle it as he handed it to his Tyranitar that had his little short arms outstretched ready for the pick-up. Making his way down faster than the other time, perhaps getting used to the height or just in deep fear that the parents would return and peck his life away. "If I die by Pidgey please tell may family I would like a closed casket!" Noah would say jokingly, he might get a peck or two but he was sure that Titan would be enough to keep some birds away.

Awkwardly running towards the trees where Elinor's birds left the other nest at. "Thank youuuuuuuuuu for keeping an eye on the sky for me!" God he was praying that the parents wouldn't return as he was running, that would be the ultimate 'caught with his pants down' moment of his life. He was not ready at all and plus he didn't want to ditch the young pidgeys in the nest to just defend himself from aerial attacks.

It seemed their luck hadn’t run out just yet. Noah successfully handed the nest to his Tyranitar before making his way down. Looking at the Tyranitar as it carefully grabbed the nest with its short arms, was quite amusing. It brought a smile to her lips if there hadn’t already been one occupying them.

It didn’t take long for Noah to find a spot for the Pidgey nest. And thankfully so. For just as Noah thanked her for keeping an eye on the skies. She heard the call of Pidgeot announcing their homecoming. At first, they circled the old place where the nest had been.

Elinor noticed the concern. And for a brief moment, their gaze fell upon her and Noah as they assumed they had been feasting upon the chicks. But before they could avenge the loss of their chicks, the mildly desperate cooing of the children allowed them to spot the nest in the tree. Relieved they joined their children in the nest, though they kept a watchful gaze turned towards the humans, figuring they had something to do with the sudden displacement.

Turning back to the job they had to do. Elinor looked at all the nests still left. There was still a fair amount left. Still, she was feeling hunger slowly starting to nag at her stomach, even if it felt like they hadn’t spent that much time working, but perhaps they had? She hadn’t looked at the clock since they started.

Thankfully everything was going smooth and all according to plans. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that the two rangers had arrived quite early and some of the birds were likely out searching for food or hunting for berries or other pokemon and thankfully the ones that had already come back had their tummies full and were in a good mood but all of that was likely to change as the day went on.

Seeing the shadow of something flying just above himself, Noah would flinch in a reactionary fashion. He was sure that anyone had felt this flash of fear of when the shadow of something above you moves too quickly. A reaction but nothing more. Regardless of that Noah knew he should get away from the nest he had just move as fast as possible and that was what he did, jogging back towards Elinor without looking back at the cooing of the baby birds.

"So uh... Yeah! I'm still intact and there's still a lot to go huh." Noah would say taking a deep breath before continuing. "Is it really just the two of us doing this?" With the amount of time it was taking it was really going to take a while. They weren't exactly running out of time but Noah's inside clock was starting to tell him it was getting around to lunch time. "Sooooooo... Do we keep going? Take a break? I don't know how these things work. Being your own boss is kinda hard." The boy would say scratching his head.
