Noah still thought this had been a strange request, if anything his father should have been the one invited, after all he was the one who started and kept the restaurant running when it came to kitchen things. Noah simply learned things from having to be around their family's restaurant, his true inspiration in life being travelling and being a good ranger, alas here he was willing to help. [break][break]

"Yeah... I guess I am." Taking notice of the cane, being taken a bit by surprise. He had never seen a visually impaired Chef before, just like every good sauce the plot had thickened. "I... Uh well... The first thing I would like to ask is what kind of food do you make here? It might be a strange question but I've seen plenty of restaurants that branch out too much tend to lose their focus." It was true, many times he had heard his father complain and complain about places that had started making bbq and for some reason where making sushi by the end of the night.[break][break]

Noah would move towards shinobu fujimori so he could shake hands with the Chef. "You can call me Noah!" He'd say with a quick introduction before he could further work on his own questions to truly see what he needed to help with. "Are we changing the full menu or would you only want add a few new items?" [break][break]

This had been the first time Noah was invited for something like this, meeting other Chefs normally ended up becoming competitive and passive aggressive so Noah didn't really like it. This time it was different, he had heard about a passionate Chef from Lilycove, it just happened that was the exact Chef that had invited him for a visit. [break][break]

Travelling had always been one of Noah's passion, the fact that he would have to travel to a different city already made him as enthusiastic as a child on Christmas day. He'd make sure to appreciate the views and moments of the small trip to Lilycove. [break][break]

Arriving in the city he'd take out his phone and follow the map so he could arrive at the restaurant without being late. After a few minutes spinning around to get the GPS linked up Noah would start walking towards his goal. It wasn't the longest walk he had been in and he was very thankful for that, he really didn't want to arrive drenched on his own sweat from the walk.[break][break]

As his GPS notified him that he had arrived at the right place. He'd stand in front of the restaurant taking in the sight of a new place and the new experiences he could have in there. Before touching the door he'd give a nod towards the pokemon who was standing guard, a gesture of hello. Taking a deep breath he'd push on the door handle and enter. "Helloooooo~ I'm Noah, I was invited to help out with the menu? Hello! Hello!"[break][break]

Well, it seemed like Noah really was about to take part in the best car ride of his life. As soon as their lips met and he was pulled towards here everything simply became a blur of amazing chemicals, he heard her tell to be careful with her clothes, he felt her essence, every breath and every movement. At some point he even imagined how bad it would be for their careers if they were to get caught but nothing could stop his youthful joy.[break][break]

Noah would try to stretch himself out from all the awkward angles of the car. "I think my back is also in the same boat as yours right now. I really hope those hot springs help us out, after all there is always the return trip." Noah would teasingly wink towards Hailee but the wink would slowly turn into a pained look as he kept stretching, the ever so smooth Noah.[break][break]

As he fixed his seat and clothes to a comfortable state so he could go back to driving in the safest way possible. "How was your first lesson?" Hailee's question would make the Ranger blush as he reversed the car trying to hide a flustered smile. "I... Uh... Hmmm I think it was one of the best lessons I've ever had." He'd speak up trying to not laugh at the next part of his reply. "But I do think I will need some reminders and perhaps some... Homework? Extra curricular activities? Home tutelage?" He knew very well Hailee would understand what he was trying to insinuate here. [break][break]

For the first time in a while the two of them were allowed to let loose, from work from family, from the world. The car ride itself was already freeing enough. His happiness matched how he was as a child on Christmas, it was just that this time his gift could be unwrapped early. He had to scan every single sign on the road to find a spot where he could stop and park the car safely, despite his wants and needs safety did come first in this situation.[break][break]

Having the person you had grown both physically and mentally with being the one you loved was something that Noah never thought he'd have in his life. A high school sweetheart, the girl next door, love at first sight, to Noah, Hailee was all of those things and much more. She was the woman that knew him best, the one that stayed with him through the rough times but also the best times, she indeed knew him in every single way and it showed in the way she teased him, he loved every single second of it. Trying to keep his eyes on the road while Hailee teased him had suddenly become the hardest task he ever had in his life. "We can figure out a way to make the dessert be the teaser to the main course? I believe in us." Noah's eyes would light up like fire works, the sign he had been looking for all this time. "Let's find out!" He'd say turning on the blinker and pulling to the right to a nice spot. [break][break]

With the car safely parked, Noah could finally put his full attention towards Hailee. Her flirty pout already making everything worth it. "Sooooooo how about you teach me how to not follow so many rules then!?" Noah would speak trying to tease a little as a reply. "Do mind that I am a visual learner." Leaning closer to her and placing his hands on Hailee's waist. "Finding out if I can handle it is half the fun." He'd whisper to her while moving for a kiss. [break][break]

With everything that had happened in the past few months it had felt like Noah had aged over 30 years, his body was tired, his brain was tired, it was like "tired" had become a new organ inside his body. Sure good things had happened to him but for every good thing seven stressful ones happened, it was crazy. [break][break]

He had began questioning his motives and reason of joining the Rangers. He wanted to protect people, of that he was sure but the people he wanted to protect were the ones he loved. It had become exceedingly obvious that the people that ran the Rangers really didn't care about the majority of their people, throwing them into the line of fire like they were pawns at a large game of civilization. There was more turmoil brewing inside his mind about that but currently this was not the time to think about the grim and dark.[break][break]

Today he had the chance of a life time and he was't letting it go to waste, perhaps make the day into a week, who would eve stop them? He was sure the others could keep the HQ without burning it down. "Food! Is there food!? Like cann we get served while we're i the hot springs? That has to be an option for real!?" The last time he had bee here he clashed with a Team Rocket member ad ever really got to experience the hot springs.[break][break]

"I'm about to accept all those options. We should make this our whole week honestly, you, me and peaceful relaxing times." Noah was really trying not to break character with Hailee's teasing while he was driving but it was becoming near impossible as he kept imagining her. Noah would move the hand he had holding the shift towards her thighs in one smooth motion. "What kind of cook would I be if I declined to try a little dessert?" He'd say trying to crack a sly smile. "There should be a stop nearby Miss Hailee, would that be your order?"[break][break]

This had technically been Noah's first mission as a full fledged Ranger, he was happy and excited about the small little achievement and first step into what would hopefully be a long career filled with nothing but joy and happiness. Despite this monumental task being a very big surprise to Noah, who had expected something more akin to getting a pokemon out of a tree or cleaning the beach so pokemon don't end up choking on plastic straws. [break][break]

Instead he was met with what felt like a Master Chef challenge and the judge wasn't even Gordon Ramsay, that was the Ranger in charge of watching over Noah. Thankfully everything went perfectly since cooking was Noah's strongest trait, other than his dashing looks of course! "You'd always be welcome for SURE! We might have some trouble accommodating the big boy here but we'll do our best!"[break][break]

Noah would flinch along with the roar from the snorlax, his nerves still on the highest of alerts but everything was over now and he had... Passed! That was one hell of a relief for the young Ranger trying to put his mark upon the world. [break][break]

"Oh thank Arceus!" Noah would take a deep breath, like the world had been lifted from his shoulders. "So do is there anything else? Or do I see you tomorrow again?"[break][break]

Noah would return to his working stations as he barely heard the two girl's tease each other bout Hailee eating anything he'd prepare. "Oh really!?" He'd exclaim in surprise. "I've been meaning to try out this veggie platter that I saw on TV. Maybe this is the right time!" He'd teasingly shout towards the two while preparing his own isle for their food. [break][break]

He could see from the side of his eyes that the floor was starting to be emptied out and the last few costumers were taking their leave, he could also hear the chairs being moved around as everything was prepped to be cleaned and organized for closing, a end of shift ritual, something that marked the beginning of peaceful times.[break][break]

First Noah would take the fillets of the Feebas and remove the skin, placing the skin to the side and putting his attention on the Feebas. Chopping the Feebas into nice bite size cubes he'd throw into a hot pan with olive oil, seasoning it with some black pepper and salt for now. Letting the Feebas let out some of it's fat into the pan, he'd remove the cubes and set it aside, it was time for the tropical part of the dish. Throwing some shallots into the pan with the Feebas fat, leting the shallots become golden before throwing some coconut milk into there, some pink salt, black pepper. Letting the sauce simmer for a bit he'd throw the pasta into boiling water, Slapping that Feebas skin with some olive oil and throwing it into a hot oven. Finally putting the cubes back into the sauce and fishing that bad boy up with some fresh lime juice and orange juice, the tropical part was finally done. [break][break]

Once the pasta was done he would he would drain it and throw it into a huge pot, right after he'd take the Feebas and the sauce and throw it into the pot with the pot, selecting some sliced green onions he would sprinkle it on top and mix everything together carefully with a pasta spoon. For the final touch he would take the crispy Feebas skin from the oven and crunch it all up on top of the pasta. Having one last smell and he would happily take the pot and start moving towards the table ready for everyone's dinner. "HEYO! I hope you guys are ready for the dinner made for the best workers in all of Hoenn!" Noah would say setting up the pot in the middle of a table, looking as proud as he could for his work.[break][break]

What on earth was happening right now? Both his and Tam Fawley's Tyranitar devolved back to their Pupitar version, this was one of the most not optimal things that could have happened right now, but also something that Noah had never expected to see in his life time, especially in the middle of combat, like right now. They didn't really have time to question the legality of such things, mostly because there was no laws in
war.[break][break]

When every brain cell within his head tried to wrap around what was actually happening and failed completely, Noah had the genius idea of simply mimicking what his superiors were doing, in this case he would copy Tam. Taking the Pupitar out of the field back to it's pokeball. He had to keep trying despite that being the one pokemon he was sure to be battle ready. His next best option would his Gyarados that could also mega evolve but after seeing what just happened it felt like a massive risk to do so. [break][break]

Taking another pokeball from his belt, Noah would let the Gyarados loose, hoping to Arceus that it would not turn into a Magikarp when it was most needed, that would suck but such was life. Other than that he had to stay ready for any movement from their enemies once again, this time he would not want to make a bad move like before. Looking towards the Slateport Captain once again for answers. "What do we do here, Tam? Move forward or stand our ground!?" It felt bad to attack first when he didn't know what exactly caused his pokemon to de-evolve. [break][break]

The boy's simple mind only stuck on three simple ideas and concepts. Protect Hailee Jacobs, survive and keep on fighting, the only question there was how long those things were going to help him keep on going forward.[break][break]

By Arceus Noah was thankful that Hailee was the one that stood next to him in the previous combat, she was the person he knew and trusted the most, it was almost natural to follow up on her moves and thoughts. He couldn't ask for anyone better to be spending the end of times with. But the time for nice things was over once again, it was time to regroup and keep fighting, like the little toy soldiers they were. Along with being dragged by Hailee, Noah's Tyranitar would follow closely behind ready to spring into action if necessary. Standing guard whenever needed, like when Hailee's pokemon were helping each other. [break][break]

The voice of the commissioner breaking through the sounds of battle. With news of reinforcements coming their way, likely giving the ones still standing some hope and morale, and Arceus knew that they needed both of those things in times like these. The whole town was falling and becoming what Noah would describe as a post apocalyptic movie. He was pretty sure that after all this the Rangers would be the ones that would have to fix all of this. Finally reaching the point with where some of their friends were at, it was heartwarming to see some of them safe. "Am I glad to see some friendly faces around here!" Noah would say with a warm smile but with the soulless eyes of a ptsd filled soldier. Along with the news of reinforcements and finding familiar faces it was good for his own morale. He'd be much happier fighting along side more of his comrades, better than fighting alongside and for strangers. [break][break]

He wasn't about to let Hailee take all the glory like this though. Along with her Mega Altaria, Noah would allow his own Tyranitar some free time to rampage too! With the light from his own crystal Titan would embrace the ways of Mega evolving. "Bulldoze them!" Noah would say towards his titanic pokemon, allowing him to take part in the breaking of any Rocket members that would come their way, using it's classical EARTHQUAKE. Along with the buffs from the DIANCIE the Tyranitar should stand to be a formidable opponent to anyone who should face it in the fields of battle.[break][break]
