Everything was going way too good and peaceful, other than the hazard that had been the flying packets of ketchup but now this, this space-time distortion thing that Noah had never dealt with in his short lived life. Noah really hoped that the person who just jinxed their day would get hit by two ketchup packets and the worse possible punishment a human could endure; Forever wet socks.

Thankfully Tam Fawley was around and taking charge of the situation like the great Ranger Captain he was. Noah himself with a small experience with chaotic crowds from having to deal with stockpile crazed people would release Titan, the Tyranitar from his pokeball. Following the orders from Tam he would start signaling people out using Tyranitar as both a reference point for people to find the exit and to shield those that were making their way.

He had seen Marshall Slade fall into action and take the two girls towards an exit and a safer place. As less and less people were left to evacuate Noah himself would start moving towards the exit himself along with his Tyranitar till he was back with his old party. Just before he made his full way out of the venue he would spot a small red shard in the sand, he would pocket that, a surprise tool that'll help him later on.

Looking back towards Xiura Balfaltin , Naomi Sato and Marshall Slade . "Thanks for the help back there!" He would say giving Marshall a big nod. "You two doing okay?" He'd ask the girls, letting his Ranger training take over his instincts for a moment, knowing full well that Tam would be okay, he's a man of focus commitment and sheer will after all.

”Noah, leave the Mantine alone.” The words hit Noah as hard as he had hit the water every time he had tried to surf. At this point he wasn't internally screaming, his whole soul was the depiction of the old meme where the guy was on his knees clutching sand at a random beach side. Life had been rough through the splashfest and his only saving grace had been what happened between him and Hailee.[break][break]

Noah would squint his eyes one last time towards the Mantine. "One day." He spoke as he put some more bait into his hook and swung towards the water. He would quietly keep fishing till Tam broke his heart once more. "I... Don't think any of what I did would be considered surfing." He would reply not breaking his gaze from the watery horizon that lay befor ethem, some might even say he was having vivid flashbacks of getting wasted in every single wave, some may even say that one singular tear would roll down his cheek and hit the sand under him.[break][break]

Yeah he was fine. Except it was a terrible day for rain.[break][break]

What was happening, almost as everything had happened in a blur. It was like Noah had missed two rounds of fishing but he hadn't, he was lost in the deepest sauce and was trying to catch up without drowning himself even further[break][break]

The mention that they could get even busier did make Noah sweat a little, he knew that after all the activities and concerts at the Splashfest the Rangers would be the ones to pick up all the slack, unless some kind souls would volunteer to help clean out the beach, he really doubted that though, he had come to realize that the people of Hoenn were pretty selfish and were only willing to help when things would be given to them. Splashfest was teaching him a lot about the world and those that inhabit it.[break][break]

"Oh nah! No problem with the Snorlax at all, in fact I would even say a Snorlax would be the solution to a lot of things. Just wanted to know how she had been in her tests too, that's all." Curiosity almost killed the cat. "I'm sure we can work something out if the snorlax ate all of Hailee's food though!" He would say as he joined the Emolga on giving death stares to the small Mantine. "I have just the thing in mind!" Would it be too much to ask for a loud thunder right now? Just to give the extra mad scientist vibes. He would quickly turn around and go back to his fishing though.[break][break]

As the phone call with his girlfriend ended Noah had just left a coffee shop and was making his way tot he meeting spot with some fresh caffeine for the three of them, he had to make sure to always have some kind of drink or food wherever he went, just as his writer intended. He had been requested by Hailee to join in on this mission because he had a fire pokemon? Can't believe he was being used for his body like that.

"Heyo Babes!" Noah would shout as he approached her who seemed to have been the first one to arrive at the meeting spot. "I gotchu some coffee too!" He would say handing her the coffee cup and giving her a quick peck on her forehead. He wanted to seem a little professional around other Rangers he hadn't met yet, it was a slow process of meeting all the Rangers that worked under Tam after all.

It would be long before the new guy showed up though, which was nice, from the simple greeting and the small talk he seemed to be a nice person so that was pretty refreshing. "Nice to meet you! As she said I'm Noah." He would say with a smile and then offer Arashi another of the three coffee cups he had previously bought for them. "Here! Please take this as a gift for meeting for the first time." He didn't think he'd have to explain his part in the plan since that was already pretty much explained by Hailee, he had at least one fire type and his Tyranitar that could use a fire move if things got really rough out there. "Never really dealt with... The whole smoking out combees and colecting their honey, so please lead the way." This in fact was very true, he had experience with some flying types and some water types from other previous missions.

In a perfect world, with a peaceful future, without a dome locking them in or a meteor looming over and looking at them like a creepy moon from a certain game from everyone's childhood, this would have been the brightest timeline throughout all the universes that existed or may yet come to existence.

He was sure everyone that he knew and had some importance in his life such as his parents, the workers at the restaurant and his superior officer and captain Tam Fawley . He was very sure all of them would be happy and proud about Noah's choices right now, and if the world was truly coming to an ending soon there was no one he would rather spend the time with right now, everything just felt right.

As Hailee leaned in and whispered to him he couldn't help but get instantly red, natural reaction at this point. But he wouldn't budge a hair away from her right now. As her voice purred within his ears and echoed inside his mind, almost as if it was activating a switch within him. "Then you wouldn't mind me taking you right now?" He spoke as their lips brushed before Hailee once again took his own lips for herself. Noah would fall backwards slowly, his back to the sand and hopefully Hailee on top of him, a premeditated move? perhaps. When they stopped kissing and parted their lips. Even if they didn't go any further than this, Noah was sure to have the most beautiful sight in all of Hoenn.

He didn't want to admit it but it did seem like it was just throwing the line in and pull out whatever came at it, most likely just a trick of fate just to prove that the both Hailee and Tam were right or perhaps it was just as she had mentioned about the whole believing in your self scenario. The impressive thing here was that all three of them were catching big fish, the sad thing being that they were all being thrown back to the sea, Noah could imagine so many dishes, almost like a hallucination. [break][break]

As the peck in the cheek came in he would become red as a berry but he wanted to try and hold some form of composure, after all he was a professional fisher now, the best in the region, is what he would say if he was dreaming right now. His full composure would be broken once Raijin jumped on his lap and pretty much begged for treats, who could say no to the little one? Reaching into one of his pockets he would take out a pokemon treat and hand it to little Jin Jin "There there! We gotta keep space for lunch later on though." He would say to the pokemon and giving him some rubs behind the ear.[break][break]

To Noah's shock they hadn't even worked together before, kind of weird. "Oh for real!? So there was no Snorlax, no test huh? Interesting... Interesting. I'll note this down for sure." Hailee did have a huge point there, the way that Hoenn has been going lately they probably had very little free time in their future but very likely a lot of time to be spent together doing their Ranger work and taking care of dark and grim outcomes of maybe surviving a meteor strike. "So uh... Yeah! Just give me a shout if you guys get hungry, my parents packed us... A lot of food." He would say feeling slight embarrassed by that.[break][break]

Another day, another ball, another failure in dunking someone. That was how Noah would explain his days at the splashfest, what had meant to be fun summer had become a hellish loop of failure one after the other. The classic ”Just cast your line and wait.” and the "Eh see it's not so hard." Making Noah want to strangle the both of them, it was like having a small watery Viet Flashback to the Mantine Surfing. From far away it had seemed like one fo the easiest things someone could do in their life but for him, it had been only 23 fails out of 23 tries so he was in the right track for sure hahaaaaaaa...aaaa.[break][break]

Both of them out fishing him was showing him that he needed to pick his game up! "I guess I'll just do that then." Was he pouty? For sure but what could he do? Just keep trying. He had Tam Fawley, his amazing Ranger teacher and master and Hailee Jacobs, the girl of his life. He was just slightly tilted but that would likely change in a few minutes.[break][break]

He hoped at least, even after he had caught the smallest Mantine he had seen in his life, even with his burning rage towards the pokemon he couldn't put himself to cook something so tiny, he would wait for it to grow bigger then he could partake in some good revenge at a future point.[break][break]

After casting his line one more time he would stare out towards the endless ocean that lay in front of them. Not really focusing in anything around him in particular, just full on tunnel vision at the small buoy in his line. "Soooooo... Since we all work at the same Ranger station. Have you guys ever worked before? Did Hailee also have to wake up a sleeping Snorlax?" He was curious and trying to take him brain away from the his past in the Splashfest.[break][break]
