The thing about observatories is that they’re meant to function at night. Which, when having plans like those of the man that stares at the building from a nearby hill, can be a bit of an inconvenience. How to break into a place where there are people 24/7? Well, clearly, a strategy is needed…

First, pick a night of tempestuous weather. The space centre has detailed meteorological data at its disposal, and its location had been chosen because of Mossdeep’s propensity for stable winds and clear nights. A stormy night like this one, where the sky is covered in dark rain-bringing clouds, is one where the least people are expected to be within the building.

Secondly, know your mark. A few days ago, among the crowds of people that often take tours of the space centre and observatory, Tuesday had also visited while disguised, and he may or may have not taken the chance to wander farther than what the tour guide would have liked.

Thirdly, ironically enough, have a disguise. In this case: the Tuesday Athena knows, clad in coveralls that perfectly match those of the Mossdeep Space Centre’s janitorial crew, and pinned to his chest, a badge bearing the name of said crew’s newest hire.

Fourth, have a partner-in-crime who can get full access to the building’s security system in case of anything. That one is on Athena, and so it's for her that he waits patiently beneath the cover of a dark umbrella.

And fifth…

Once all those things are covered, have a way in.

A Natu is perched on his shoulder, but admittedly, Tuesday has no real need for it. He’s his own way in.

She was much more impressed with Tuesday. Despite such short notice he actually got the plan ready much sooner than she had expected. [break][break]

Breaking into places was much like a game of chess, one had to consider any possibilities, a plan for victory after the very first move and being able to adapt to the ever changing possibilities of fate. [break][break]

She especially made sure they'd secure victory with her tricks she had ready up her sleeve. Her Rotom device whirring beneath her cloak as her Zorua hide her underneath an illusion, her mask melting away to look like a young blonde girl who was definitely not Yui fujin silph. Underneath her illusion though she was in her full Athena get up, black helmet, cloak and all. [break][break]

She awaited his signal.

They deal in secrets, plans, and misdirection. And, in that, they are alike.

Tuesday checks the time on the watch at his wrist: one simple, old, cheap-looking, and thus much different from those that are proudly collected by one rich banker. Yet, still one that gets the job done, for it’s equipped with a precise chronograph.

It’s time.
[break][break]
He brings out a phone, staring at the screen for a silent moment, and with a deep breath, he takes in the scent of the storm. In the blink of an eye, the umbrella falls to the damp grass – the man who had been holding it having quite literally disappeared. Teleportation. Aided by a picture of his destination, since teleporting is always easier for him when there’s clear visualisation.

It’s the real reason why he had visited the space centre while planning all this, and when appearing in the small supply room, he knows the location is far-off and insignificant enough not to run into anyone. Putting on his earbuds like a proper late night janitor, Tuesday gives the signal: the on and off flickering of lights to be seen through the room’s small window. He grabs the mop bucket and goes to open the door: the kind that is meant for staff use only and is usually locked.

When Athena appears, he smirks:

”What do you think? I look great in coveralls, don’t I?” He knows he does, but alas, that’s not what matters the most here. ”We should have some time once we loop the cameras.”

The signal activated. Athena grinned underneath her black helmet as her Rotom machine whirred to life The tendril like whips opening up into an x formation to grab onto the wall and lift her up, rotom's levitate doing most of the work for her since well..she didn't really weigh very much. [break][break]

The window was left open for her as she crawled inside. "Not the most elegant of entrances but it will suffice." Her glance turns towards Tuesday as a her expression shows a cat who seems rather degosted with his attempts to get a compliment out of her. [break][break]

"Looking too attractive will make it so you draw attention. You'd look like a model being a janitor you dolt." she chastises him, but underneath her mask there was a little hint of red dancing across her cheeks. She made her way over to one of the computers and began to get to work as her Porygon-z released himself from her pokeball. "Go codey, let's get to work." she said as she begun to take over the camera systems of the mossdeep space center, looping the same footage from the day prior, they all seemed to just blend together anyhow, hoping that no one would really notice. [break][break]

around 5 minutes pass and her handiwork is done. "Annnnd finished, and for some flair." she said pulling out a small phone device. "Security passes. These people really need to up their security game." she tells him. "But lucky us I suppose." she says shutting off the computer since he work was done.

”Athena, you wound me. Handsome men can be janitors too.” He chides her, that same smirk from before remaining upon his lips. Of course, they aren’t really his lips, for the truth is that his disguise is not much different from that of the information broker herself, and that his real appearance is hidden behind a mask and a cleverly borrowed face. Still, the man beneath it all does smirk indeed, amused despite the fact that his thoughts are on the mission above all else.

While she gets to work, he keeps watch, leaning against a wall and keeping an eye on the corridors despite knowing well it’s unlikely they’ll encounter anyone at all. He hadn’t planned this for there to be such simple mistakes, but human error is a thing even someone like Tuesday is susceptible too.

”You know what they say: poor security is a criminal’s best friend.” He would know. Not because he does this sort of thing often (not anymore, at least), but because security happens to be something he’s quite knowledgeable of. Owning a bank requires it. Not like Tuesday would tell Athena about all that, obviously. ”Great work, though. Let’s get to it.”

"Yeah sure ok." she says rolling her eyes underneath the mask. She stays silent as he talks to her, idle chitchat, pleasent conversation and all that hullabaloo. As much as her job required her to speak, she never really enjoyed idle chitchat instead preferring to just dive right into the meat of the conversation. [break][break]

She sends out her chatot, letting it perch itself on her shoulder as it also had help her confuse and evade capture at the spire. "You sound like you're experienced at this, breaking into places. Let's see how well you do." she says cracking the door open as something dawns upon her. "Wait. Where is her office?" she said looking back to mars as Yui realized something critical, she saw the map layout, they had no idea where her office was..did they?

So, yeah… About human error… Maybe their mistake had been not trying a little bit harder to learn about Dr Holo’s schedule. The fact that they don’t know where her office is has been accounted for: the building’s floor plan doesn’t list which office belongs to which scientist, but once they make it to that area it probably won’t be hard to find it, no? Mars had not stopped to consider the fact that there might not even be an office, and such being the case, when Athena questions him, all she’ll see is Tuesday raising a brow at her:

”Should be with the other offices, no? We can figure that part out once we make it to the upper floors.” All they can do is move forward and he knows as much. He doesn’t wait for a response before walking towards the stairs, choosing not to take the elevator because it’s less likely that they’ll run into anyone.

”Come on, we’re not leaving this place empty handed.”
[break][break]
Surely the space centre will have at least some valuable information for them, no?

"Alright, im launching contingency plan two then to buy us more time and a distraction.." she says as she begins to tap away on her phone. [break][break]

Yui had several porygons ready to go, leaking out of a dupe phone she left nearby the lobby of mossdeep. One by one the porygons emerged from the device, buzzing to life as guests in the lobby clamored and stared, whispering to one another before eventually...[break][break]

In sync with one another, they began to cause havoc. Computers started to short circuit, tri attacks flew (not hitting any guests as she gave them orders to not hurt civilians) and generally being a nuisance to cause problems. She grinned at her mischief "There we go.." she says in a satisfactory tone.[break][break]

Yui giggles to herself as codey chuckles alongside her, they were always a dastardly duo as she runs behind mars. Now that those porygons were causing chaos, they were able to operate more freely but that made time a bit more limited as surely security would become more active. But it was not like they needed that much time...right?

No matter what the League may say, even a space centre like this one is a business, and on a stormy night when no stars can be clearly seen, things like the scheduled nightly tours sure do good to make up for at least some of the money wasted. That is, of course, when the space centre isn’t being attacked by a small swarm of Porygon.

Chaos is a good move. A distraction, and one they won’t likely immediately pin to being attached to a more serious attack with all the commotion. Tuesday is admittedly rather impressed by Athena’s foresight in this, and perhaps that’s exactly why a slight smile tugs at his lips.

”Good plan.” That’s all he says about that, continuing to head up the stairs and towards the different offices. Once there, they encounter more than a few marked doors, but none of them bear the name of Dr. Nisa Holo. Odd.

”Huh… I think it’s not here? That one over there is the office of the space centre’s director, maybe we can find something there.”
[break][break]
Surely if there’s someone who would have all the confidential information gathered by the space centre, it would be them, no? Shame it's not Dr. Holo's files, but it might just do...

As they began to make a move towards the director's office it seemed...wayyy too easy..[break][break]

She was suspicious though, was the director's office really unguarded? There was no way it would be...right? [break][break]

There was an electric lock on it, Yui stepped forward and began to get to work on it with Porygon. "I'm gonna need a few minutes to get through this lock on the door. I'm surprised his the only one this secured...what are they hiding in here?" she wondered, maybe alien life? She couldn't keep asking questions or else she'd go insane with desire.

THE ELECTRIC LOCK IS UNLOCKED. The director's office is clean and pristine. Figures of planets and celestial bodies can be found in old, dusty shelves against the ornate (or stupidly plain) spines of academic publications.

In their resulting investigation, under the timer of security and infiltration, they find nothing but the following document:

What the office of the space centre’s director hides is, in fact, not alien life, but if one were to make enough speculations, it may just be a hint of that. There are plenty of documents to look through, and to inquisitive minds like those of Tuesday and Athena, quite a few that look interesting too. Yes, it’s likely, but it would have taken much more effort, and in his opinion, it’s foolish to do operations of this nature without backup. He does not trust Athena, he has no reason to, but he does know her to be skilled at what she does, and he also knows that she has her own reasons to have wanted to break into the space centre. For now, he can rely on her.
