Across the street from the Slateport Oceanic Museum, sitting on a lonely bench, a blond man scrolls through his phone. Or, well, at least it seems as if he’s scrolling through his phone. Good looks aside, nothing about the way he’s dressed particularly stands out, and carrying himself with a calm demeanour, he appears as if a civilian like all those around.

From time to time, his aquamarine gaze falls upon the building for a second or two, and when finally noticing a familiar figure stepping into view, it’s quietly and while barely moving his lips that he speaks – as if a great act of ventriloquism where the puppet is nowhere to be seen. No one else would hear him, but thanks to a pair of ever so inconspicuous wireless earbuds, he knows she will.

Team Rocket finally decided to cash in on the connections she had made with them. Not that Cathrine minded. The pay was fair if she succeeded. And she had been in quite the rut lately. The mission was simple. She kept going over the plan again and again. As she made her way up the stairs to the entrance of the Slateport Oceanic Museum.

Or rather it was not Cathrine Fisher that was currently walking her way up the stairs, but rather Amelia Whitmore, a fake identity that she had carefully crafted alongside the cover story, which was something as simple as being called in to handle some tech issues.

A well-made wig of long blonde hair currently covered her otherwise dark blue, and contact lenses were changing her eye color from a greenish to pale blue-grey color. A nerdy pair of round glasses rested neatly against the ridge of her nose.

Her outfit was rather bland for what she usually wore, but it had to fit the nerdy IT persona she was wearing. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately depending on who you asked, she was still filling it out rather well. At her side rested a laptop bag, machine, and equipment inside, and around her neck was an ID card, which would confirm her identity.

As she entered the Museum’s entrance hall. She took stock of her surroundings. A few guests, and a perky receptionist. Nothing too difficult to deal with, but she took her sweet time to play the unsure IT person for anyone who might be watching her.

Everybody lies, but not everyone is capable of mastering the art that is deception. By trade, someone like Cathrine shows great promise; there are expectations, and it’s up to her to deliver on all of them.

For the most part, from the moment she goes through the museum’s doors, she’s in this alone.

People come and go. A couple buys tickets just as a family exits the gift shop with children that compare their plushies while arguing about who has the ‘coolest’ one. A receptionist hangs up the phone with a jovial ”Have a good day!” and just as she does so, she spots the mousy girl.

”Hello, welcome to the Slateport Oceanic Museum! Can I help you with anything?” The woman smiles, looking expectantly at Cathrine Fisher.

Meanwhile, outside, the man who goes by the codename is ‘Tuesday’ simply listens, waiting to hear what response Cathrine gives her.

She perked her ears at the voice of the receptionist. Nervously did she look towards the person, a stark contrast to her usually so confident persona. But that was not her right now. No, right now she was but a tiny tech Mouse sent her to fix issues.

“Oh, why, yes.” She said timidly as she walked over to the receptionist. “I am here to handle some tech issues.” She held up her ID Card to allow the receptionist to have a look at it. She would hand it over if the receptionist wanted a closer look, but would otherwise hold it close to her person.
