"Mmm...yeah I see 'em." he said smiling despite the strangeness of it all. It was kind of plain sight, but the different pokemon out on the prowl to defend them was probably what made them hard to approach. Fair enough. "They definitely look like the cultists given Fallarbor a tough time..." he said wit ha nod before he got up off the boulder he'd been sitting on. "For now, Ruby Red, press the advantage and- well- try to pretend you're doing this all out of the kindness of your heart." he said with a small laugh. Knowing Greyson Connors was enough of a pass to give him an excuse to be out there. Checking some stray weapons caches with Ruby was something they didn't need to speak of, obviously.

"I'll give you a minute to prepare." he said, more or less teasing as he let out a little Mareep who wagged her tail at the grunt. He gestured at the cultists nodding over her her to stealth closer. It's way less interesting than it sounded to watch a lamb scurry closer and closer. But once in sight her tail glowed softly, waving behind her before a sudden downpour from RAIN DANCE dropped on the cultists. Sheets of rain slapped the side of the mountain before Zucchera mercilessly brought down huge THUNDER bolts, frying the cultists and causing chaos as they hit. "You ready? I think she's just about done tenderizing them for you."

Mint gave Ruby a thumbs up as he watched the grunt unleash her own pokemon's fury on the cultists. A giant water spider leapt into the fray, easily taking on multiple pokemon at once, aided by the rainstorm. As Zucchera charged herself up to do a bit more damage, all her electricity is drawn towards a Marowak, particularly vengeful one at that. It yeets a Boomerang as her, smacking the poor sheep around as she wailed at the hits. "Keep it together!" he shouted, trying to be encouraging s he released another pokemon.

Spritz lept out of his pokeball roaring in defiance and looking around for Mint who only waved at the large alligator before pointing at his prey. "Cover us! Just go buckwild, Spritz!" he shouted as the oddly colored Feraligatr practically unhinged its jaw and let loose a HYDRO PUMP beam, slowly walking in from one pokemon to the next before he had to closed his mouth to recover.

By now the cultists are making money moves, either running for cover (there's very little of that aside from a few giant boulders ) and either trying to get to higher ground ( difficult considering all the mud ). But they're launching a counterattack, turning fire, ground, and rock types off the ritual and towards them. A couple of Golems roll out from behind the boulders, moving in towards Rachne and Spritz.

Spritz doesn't seem to noticed when the rain stops, only watching for an opportunity to strike. Once Delphi disorients the Golems, Spritz rushed in with unprecedented speed sweeping in on the pokemon with LOW KICK and sending them back towards the cultists with a vengeful roar. Mint is already checking for a way to take back the field. Zucchera was weak, the Marowak having taken out a lot of her, but she still had a little bit of energy left. "C'mon RAIN DANCE one more time." he ordered as she wobbled in place, tail glowing as it summoned grey storm clouds once more.

It's not enough to dampen the Charizard's attack though and the SOLAR BEAM smashes into Spritz, who holds on but it almost knocked over from the power of it all. He's already back at it again with HYDRO PUMP before Mint can even give the order. "Ruby, we gotta take out the leader, maybe it'll make them disperse!" he shouted. Even with the surprise attack it was still two on...how many were they over there? liek 15? 16 people? Zucchera is panting but she's already manifesting a PROTECT around the trainers against the next wave.

There's one person leading THE GLORY OF GROUDON chants and Mint points, not really caring of half drowning them if it would chase the cult out. It's a cult after all. Way more creepy and dangerous than any gang.

Aw shit, perhaps he'd have to pull out some backup. He lets out Agretti, his Tropius cheering despite the rain putting a damper on the field. Instantly he's flying up into the sky and offering aerial support with a barrage of RAZOR LEAF, helping cut into that Mamoswine. Mint also released another pokemon, a Vaporeon that's quick to move in next to Spritz trying to offer assistance as she began an AQUA RING and then, in full sync the pair unleashed another HYDRO PUMP, blasting forth towards the wall of pokemon, mainly sending the Salazzle and Blaziken some pressure.

Zucchera is still keeping next to Mint with PROTECT up, though it's flickering threatening to fail. Still he doesn't seem too worried. As Ruby's pokemon make quick work of their foes. "Agretti! The Speaker! The middle one!" he shouted before the Tropius dive bombed into enemy territory, wings glowing white and gray before solidifying beyond human comprehension and smacking the main chanted like a tennis ball. The cult leader is sent flying across the mud. The Marowak from before intercepted with a BOOMERANG which grounds the dual type, but he popped up quickly enough using GIGA DRAIN on it for interrupting.

"Ruby, move in. They're running. I want at least the big boss for turn in." he shouted as Zucchera is returned. A different electric type takes her place, this time a figure as INTIMIDATEing as Ruby imagined someone of Rocket might have. The Luxray is large, with fierce eyes. "Help Agretti, Cacio. Bring me the fancy guy alive." he said giving the pokemon a pat on the head before they began tp sprint, moving past the main effort and easily dodging and jumping off cultists and pokemon alike.

"That's fine! Agretti, SOLAR BEAM!" he called out as the Tropius flapped his palm fronds up into the sky. "Ruby, get back I'll push my team forward." he said, warning the grunt as as his Tropius unleashed a SOLAR BEAM at the Camerupt and its bodyguard with ease. Dirt shoots up easily from the impact. Cacio is still on his way, as some point having used MAGNET RISE to avoid the Ground pokemon that plagued the battlefield. His glare INTIMIDATEd the Mega Camerupt and its entourage as he snarled, lithely dodging behind the menace and using a brutal CRUNCH on the Speaker itself despite the other trainers shrieking in horror.

"ALIVE CACIO!" Mint reminded as he sent Spritz forward, the Feraligatr coming in front the front as Ruby's team pinched from the back. He let out a Vaporean who sprinted instantly to Spritz side with a yip. "HYDRO PUMP! Before that Camerupt has time to move!" he said counting on the slowness of the pokemon as Cacio sparked a DISCHARGE electrocuting the humans he currently found himself hovering around. The Mega Camerupt shouted, slow and angry at the assaults.

Cacio stayed guarding the cult leader, more so they couldn't escape than actual protection from harm. Mint was already pulling out a cellphone for someone else to pick up this mess. "She's right, you kinda suck." he said as he dialed for the police.

"Yeah. We're just gonna wait for them to answer and leave most of these losers here. But we're walking her back with us and then we're good to go." he said, giving Ruby an OK sign with his hand before speaking quickly into his cellphone. A minute or so passed before be pocketed it and grinned. "Kay, Cacio bring her over." he said, voice almost sing song as his Luxray snarled loudly at the woman, spooking her and making her run forward. He herded her towards the way they were going staying near and growling every time they moved suspiciously.

Mint is quick to follow, and smield at the other grunt. "Nice work! Wanna go out for ice cream after this?"
