When she lost her left leg below the knee in a rockslide, Julia thought her adventurous, active life was over. However, a sturdy prosthesis, years of rehabilitation and careful exercise, and support from her family, friends, and Pokémon helped her break through that hopeless fog. Determined to embrace life to the fullest while also helping others avoid her fate, she decided to become a Pokémon Ranger.
