Julia Davis
Julia hasn't let the loss of her left leg below the knee or Hoenn's recent hardships keep her down. An upbeat, friendly woman of 21 years old, Julia decided to become a Pokémon Ranger to repay them for saving her life and help people and Pokémon alike in the wilderness of Hoenn. She's still not a fan of caves after what happened to her, but she's willing—eager, even—to explore the rest of what the region has to offer and meet as many people and Pokémon as she can.
Generally, Julia is a straightforward person who acts on what she's feeling and has a traditional sense of justice and morality. She understands that the world is complicated, but isn't that all the more reason we should try to keep things simple? Or is that just her way of coping with the harsh realities of the world? Either way, she always tries to look on the bright side of life and do good for the people and Pokémon around her. It's better than dwelling on all the bad things and spiraling into depression.

- Fellow Rangers/League Members: Julia would love to meet her fellow Rangers, and there are a lot of angles to work from, too. Maybe you were Julia's mentor when she was still a Trainee/Rookie. Or maybe you're just going on a mission with her! Her mission tracker is here.
- Rivals: The friendly kind! After all, a good competition helps people build their strengths.
- Rockets and Other Criminals (updated): After learning about Isaac Merlo's time in Rocket and her encounter with Cillian Quinn and Tempest Quinn, Julia has become more determined than ever to stop Rocket's nefarious plots. However, she's also realized just how dangerous Rocket's top brass can be. She can't stop them alone, but that doesn't mean she won't try.
- Facing Her Fears (new!): Ever since the accident that took part of her leg, Julia has been afraid of caves and other enclosed spaces. She still isn't sure if the events of Postdormitum made her fear better or worse, but either way, she wants to conquer it once and for all.

Though Julia hasn't had much chance to talk with Ever Grande's Ranger Captain, he seems to match Julia's friendliness and optimism perfectly!
Orion Lykos: Fellow amputee
Julia has yet to talk to Orion personally, but she feels solidarity with him as a fellow amputee. She's disgusted with what Rocket did to him.
Hideo Kino: A good kid
Julia partnered with Hideo to investigate some
missing Wooloo. As someone who also has a disability, she thinks he's a good kid with a lot of future potential!
Oliver Shrakes: New Ranger friend
Julia met Oliver in the
March 2023 Rangers meeting but didn't get much chance to talk to him. She'd like to, though, especially since he seems to know Shalin.
Jett Roan: Don't judge a book by its cover!
Navy: Ally in a hopeless battle
Julia and Navy got caught up in a battle against
Cillian Quinn and
Tempest Quinn during
Postdormitum. Despite their best efforts, the Rocket duo was too powerful for them, and Navy disappeared into a rift in the end. Julia hasn't seen him since then and hopes he's okay.

Exactly what it says on the tin! Julia's the type to make friends easily, especially with good-hearted people who enjoy being active like she does.
Shalin Nariya: Adventuring buddy and new Ranger
Julia first met Shalin in an arcade, and the two became fast friends thanks to their mutual love of adventure. They even explored the mysterious
Mirage Palace together and both fought in the
battle for Littleroot! In the
March 2023 Rangers meeting, she found out that Shalin had signed up for the Rangers and is eager to help her friend out.
Isaac Merlo: It's complicated, and not in the usual way
For a while, Julia knew Isaac as two different people. One was the Rocket known as Blackjack, whom Julia got into a
high-speed chase with but then formed an
unusual alliance with to stop some poachers. The other was simply Isaac, the man she went
camping with and
whose life she saved thanks to happenstance. She was in disbelief when she discovered that they were
the same person, but she realized that he was still her friend. After she learned more about his
reasons for joining Rocket, she became more determined to stop them and keep good people out of its ranks. She suspects that he's
El Sunderland's brother but doesn't yet know the full story.
Josh Devlin: Friend and coworker
Julia and Josh forged their friendship primarily through Ranger work together. She respects his earnest determination, especially with pursuing Raikou, and is proud of all he's achieved. However, she thinks he's a bit too stubborn sometimes, especially after his actions during the
Mauville riot.
Ettie: Wild little sister
Julia was the first to find Ettie, a wild child being raised by a pack of canine Pokémon. Julia helped bring her into society and sees herself as a big sister to the girl. When they worked together to stop some
Wooloo thieves, Julia saw just how capable Ettie was.
El Sunderland: Ranger protégé
Julia is proud to have been an inspiration for El to join the Rangers. She's determined to be the best mentor she can be for them and is proud of the progress they've already made, especially during
Rusted Shield. She knows something is up between them and
Isaac Merlo but isn't quite sure what.
More Than Friends
Could Julia be falling in love? I don't have any real romance plans for her; I just like it when relationships develop organically, as long as everyone is on the same OOC page.

From what she's seen of him, Julia is proud to have Laurence Anderson as her Head Ranger.
Josh Dragomir: Big Josh is a good Josh
"Big Josh" earned a lot of Julia's respect for his calm handling of the outrage at the
August 2022 Rangers meeting and his cool holo-glasses.
Guillermo Marceliño: Her captain
Fortree's newly appointed captain immediately earned Julia's respect when he jumped to his city's defense during the
August 2022 Rangers meeting.
LANCE VOLLANS: Lilycove's cool captain
Julia got to work with Lilycove's Ranger Captain to
settle a dispute between two troops of wild Pokémon, where he proved to be a good, chill mentor to Julia.
John Sullivan: Protector
Julia first encountered Lt. Colonel Sullivan as he helped evacuate people when a
space-time distortion appeared in Fortree. Then, they fought together in
Littleroot during Meteno's fall. The poor guy's clearly been through a lot, and Julia respects him for all she's seen him do despite whatever hardships he may have faced.

Julia wants to thank the former Head Ranger for what she did for Isaac on Mt. Pyre, but doing so would reveal Isaac's identity.
Rowan Wrynn: Proof of redemption
To Julia, Rowan is living proof that someone can leave Rocket behind and live a better life. She encountered him in the
March 2023 Rangers meeting but has yet to speak to him.

Julia usually doesn't make enemies easily, but lately, her dislike of Rocket's crueler members has grown.
Alexandra Briarwood: Rocket on a spectral horse
Julia knows basically nothing about this woman, but she tried to stop the Primal Point from firing and saving Hoenn.
Felix Gallagher: Disgust
Julia will never forget the sight of a Rocket throwing a Molotov at a house, potentially hurting innocent people.
Makoto Kurumi (disguised): The thief that got away
During
Postdormitum, Julia tried to stop Makoto from stealing some League documents. Unfortunately, thanks to some dirty tricks, Makoto got away.
Shizue Murasaki: Trickster with words
Julia found Shizue
harvesting Zubat corpses during Postdormitum. The not-quite-Rocket tried to convince Julia that her morals were wrong and called the Ranger a child throwing a tantrum. It's safe to say that Julia's not a fan.
Cillian Quinn & Tempest Quinn: Fear and loathing
These two Rockets attacked Julia and
Navy during
Postdormitum. They proved to be too powerful for Julia and her new ally and even tried to kill Julia, but she managed to get away. To Julia, they are the ultimate example of the evil power that Rocket wields and why the organization needs to be taken down. She's also convinced that their love is fake because surely, two people that horrible could never love anyone.
mint frost (disguised): Memories are precious
Her only interaction with the disguised Mint is when he mocked
luka chêne's efforts to honor the deceased Calyrex. Julia retorted that memories are precious. She doesn't have much other reason to dislike him aside from his presumed Rocket allegiance, though.

paxton concordas: Jerk on her side
He may be a fellow Ranger, but Julia still thinks a jerk for what he said in the
August 2022 Rangers meeting. Even if he was maybe a tiiiiiiiny bit right.
Raziel Beckett: Gaining respect
Though she wasn't a fan of his rudeness in the
August 2022 Rangers meeting, she respects his spoken dedication to the Rangers as one of its new Heads. She'll have to see him in action to form a solid opinion, though.
Cade Atreides: Enemy who helped
Julia fought with a half-masked Cade during the
battle for Littleroot, where he used dirty tactics to get her to flee. But then, after Julia had been caught in the Primal Point's explosion, he handed her a first-aid pouch, saying he didn't want to see her die. Julia still doesn't understand why. She kind of wants to ask him herself.
