"yeah, i heard what you said~" she giggles in response, raising her head to rest against the side of her head. "doesn't mean i don't try, though~" and she does, but usually they're turned away the moment they realize she can't see anything. apparently it's a turn off for many people at the club. she doesn't like louder places, anyways. it's too overwhelming. funny, because she looks like someone who would frequent them. [break][break]

and no, she doesn't need to see to be able to picture the sly smirk on his lips afterwards. of course his ego is being stroked - she was worried that it'd get up there when she said it, but it doesn't look like you can stop a confident man from being the way that he is. still, ariadne is no liar. she'll admit it - it's just that she wouldn't admit to the degree of it. "ehh.. saying anyone would be a bit of a stretch, don't you think?~" she asks with a bit of a raised tone, her eyes squinting slightly as her smile broadens. then she holds her hands up in a square, more to frame around him, with one eye open. she hoped that it would frame his face, but it's more likely that she's looking at his chest. "i'd say a seven outta ten? based on what low detailed image i can see."

He snorted, narrowing his eyes for a short while before nudging her hands up.[break][break]

”Up here, ya blind bitch,” he snickered, clicking his tongue. His arms crossed as quickly as they’d unfolded in order to move once more, and with a faintly crooked grin, he tilted his head towards her. ”And nah— still stand by what I said.”[break][break]

He inhaled deeply following that, humming.[break][break]

”Don’t knock yourself when you’re your worst critic, Cuz,” he added. ”You’re a bigger catch than ya think. Guarantee it.”

She nearly instinctively pulls her hands back when she feels the gentle nudge, before she stands there to process how much higher he’s moved them. The words are put on pause as she tilts her head, lowering her hands again, then raising them approximately where he left them.[break][break]

“Not my fault you’re so fucking tall.” then she sticks her tongue out, in mock disdain. [break][break]

He’s calling her a catch? She’d tease him if she hadn’t already poked at him enough for one night. “Y’know what?” she asks, lowering her hands as she shifts her weight onto one of her legs “Sure, I’ll take your word for it~.” she muses with her fingers combing through locks of platinum. “Since I’m sure you got good taste.” [break][break]

It’s getting late, even if she can’t see it, she can feel the night breeze starting to pick up. The later it gets, the colder the temperature drops. They’ve been out, talking by the sand for a while, so maybe she’ll save more teasing for another day. So her fingers lower and gently knock on the wood to act as her guide. “Anyways, it’s getting late. Maybe it’s about time we start heading back?” she hums with a grin, taking a step or two (so confidently in the wrong direction).
