the jackal narrows steely eyes, lifting a steel coated forearm to catch the THUNDER PUNCH, while retaliating with a METEOR MASH straight towards the gut.

Thunder Punch is deflected by steel, yellow sparks cracking over the canine’s forearm before it shifts. Ferrum can see the Meteor Mash developing. His weight shifts back to step. It connects, but his shift softens the blow.

He folds slightly at the waist, his fists back up to protect his face. He flexes, pushing suddenly as his fist explodes in fire. He aims up, throwing a FIRE PUNCH uppercut.

the exact moment hitmontop shifts, so too does the lucario. it's an edging strike, scuffing and burning a patch of fur on the left side of his face.

lucario huffs a breathe of air, controlling it's breathing, before palming a close-ranged AURA SPHERE rasengan like into his opponents chest.

The Fire Punch uppercut isn’t as effective as he would have hoped. At the last minute, he slips, pulling the punch a bit and giving the Lucario the upper hand.

The colorful sphere grows and blasts straight into the Hitmonchan’s gut. He stumbles back to catch himself, rolling his shoulders to shake off the signature attack of the fellow fighting type.

The pokemon keeps his vigor and lunges forward with another flaming fist, aiming another FIRE PUNCH at the Lucario to make up for the last one.
