She was walking away with Cobalion after the aqua initiative meeting. She was rather anxious at the moment since well, that meeting was rather intense. [break][break]

From Sénon Game getting fired, to her starting to fear rather than admire dahlia goode . All in all it was rather stress enducing. She walked down the hall sighing as cobalion nudged her from behind to offer his support. She places a hand on his head to acknowledge him. "Thanks for always being there for me Cobalion." [break][break]

She pauses "Let's do our best to prep for that meeting. We gotta do what we can." she says as she realizes someone was approaching them both.

Finally that meeting was over, and while knows he'll never want to be in one of those meetings again, his membership meant otherwise. Though now that it was over and his nerves weren't as high Razz does leave the chamber in order to catch up to Melody Miro. "Hey Miro," he calls out to her professional as always as even Salem gives out a meow to call out to the Elite Four member. [break][break]

He stops only when he is close and Salem gives a friendly enough wave to the steel legend, while Razz seems a tad more nervous about what to think about them as he doesn't know much about them. "Ummm hey I didn't really say it in there but uhhh..." he is struggling as he isn't use to being this open. "Would you want to get a drink or something?" he ends up cowering out of what he was originally going to say. [break][break]

Though besides that maybe they could find someplace more private to talk.

Melody turns as her ponytail swishes around behind her. Almost hitting cobalion in the face as she hadnt realized he had lowered his head to sniff the back of her head. Weirdo. [break][break]

She looks at razz in confusion, she knew he wasn't the most social one but she was surprised he wanted to talk with her. "Hey Kingsman, how can I help? Just Melody is fine by the way haha." she says as the man extends his invitation to get a drink. Did he want to talk in private? [break][break]

"Sure! That sounds nice, where were you thinking of going?" she asked, wondering if the location he picked would give her any information on the type of person he was.

"Uhh no real need help with anything," he mumbles more than anything else as it seems he is still having troubles trying to get the words he wants out. It isn't until Salem thwacks him on the side of the head a few times in a 'its fine get over it you baby' kind of fashion. [break][break]

"Uhh right ummm I'm afraid I'm not to familiar with the area but something sweet sounds nice?" he says in a questioning tone as realizing he liked sweets was something new to him. He begins to learn the way as he does look into his phone to see just what there was around them as they would head out of the building. [break][break]

Once again Salem nudges the Ranger's head, "Uhhhh just wanted to saw how brave it was to talk about your mom like that," he finally lets it out but he doesn't really give reason as to why.

Nonetheless it did make her a bit happy that someone at least gave her praise for sharing such a private detail of her life. "Th-thank you razz." she says as her face turned slightly red. "It definitely wasn't easy. But, I had to let the council and dahlia goode know." she shares. "If anything it was to save my own ass really, for them to know I had no idea and I wasn't willfully collaborating." [break][break]

She looks around the district a bit as they walked, taking in the sights "But I'm pretty sure going forward some people might use that information against me. But, it was what was right I suppose." she admits as she did still have her sense of justice intact

"Even if it was to save face its not an easy thing to admit I think, I know what its like to care for a parent that did nothing but use, and abuse you. Convincing yourself its normal only to feel like the world's biggest idiot for having lived so long denying the truth, and the ordeal of moving forward isn't easy because now you have to admit not only to that stupidity but the fact that your whole life your original reality was a lie...." there is a pause in his ramblings as he stops to look back at her. Some pain in his features as he does what he can to keep things together as admitting to his own parents doings isn't something he does. [break][break]

"To now being unsure of what's true anymore, not of them, not of the world around you, and not of yourself," he admits as they finally arrive near a shopping district but he is unsure of where to pick, "For instants I used to think I didn't like sweets, turns out that was a lie I told myself to try and be like dear old dad, and now I'm honestly not sure of what I like... So yeah I think its brave."[break][break]

He looks around unsure the choices feeling almost overwhelming, "But guess that's all just a long winded explanation of saying I'm not sure of where to go, you like anything here?" he attempts his hand on humor to lighten the mood of admitting feelings he felt weighted him down for a very long time.

She was at a loss for words. [break][break]

In mere moments Melody felt a lot less lonely in this world. Razz was the only person so far who she felt really understood her situation. [break][break]

"The truth and I...have a funny relationship." she replies "She convinced me at one point that it was normal, this was how people coped, she convinced me it was all natural. I was her Rapunzel, she was my mother Gothel." [break][break]

This was rather awkward. But maybe its cause she knew that eventually she would have told him anyways. "I sometimes miss it, life was easier. Forgetting unpleasant things, being able to forgive and forget what happen with Matias and move on with a smile on my face. A beautiful lie." she says as she grabs her elbow [break][break]

"But im making sure I don't go back to it. It's why I told everyone, to prevent myself from doing it again." she says as now that all the current members of aqua knew. They'd be able to act on it if she slipped back into her old ways. [break][break]

Force her to accept the ugly truth instead of the beautiful lies. [break][break]

"Well. We're both gonna be stuck on this sweets thing for a while cause uh...I'm in the same boat.." she says unsure if Melody likes sweets. "Maybe...a boba tea place is nice? People post about them online a lot.. They should have cakes and stuff." she says looking at the menu of the cafe.

Razz can't help but laugh slightly as Melody mentions her relationship with the truth, ”Speaking to the choir about the whole ‘truth’ thing,” he muses, he’s not really sure how much she knows at his patron but it definitely hits home. Though he is quiet as she talks about the normality of it all, it hitting the nail on the head as it seems he’s found someone who could actually relate to him. In more ways than one though seeing as her mother was Rocket, his parenthood he’d still keep under wraps but for now it’s just nice to relate. [break][break]

”Yeah getting through it not the easiest, back then as long as I did what dad said I never had to worry about anything, not cooking, not house cleaning, not money, so when I finally got to be on my own I didn’t have the slightest clue on how to deal and made me realize that I… didn’t know how to do anything. Might have been easier but the coast wasn’t worth it being easy.”[break][break]

He admits before they finally come to some sort of cafe for ‘tea.’ Honestly he isn’t sure about it as he hasn’t tried tea yet, Uhhh sure we can give it a try,” he says as he looks at the menu as he orders the boba tea like she mentioned before getting something more familiar with a cake slice.

She hadn't really known of who Razz worked with to be in aqua, she didn't pay attention to such things before, but now that she could.

Turning her eyes from the truth had a steep price to pay as well. Once she dare not mention it to Dahlia or anyone on the council what she remembered now. But she felt at ease with Razz for some odd reason.[break][break]

Eris Halla . Rowan Wrynn . Hell, her own cousin Glitch. She knew they were rockets as well but she knew they had to potential for goodness, they weren't bad people. Why did they side with terrorists... She orders the same cake slice and Boba Razz did, maybe so that they could discuss the flavor of it and if they enjoyed it. [break][break]

"I guess that's the spot im in right now. Everything used to be done for me. Only thing I had to worry about was performing. But now? I cant even bring myself to sing anymore. I don't really know who Melody is." The waitress then brought over their order, placing it down on the table between them. She swirls the drink with her straw for a bit, watching the ice clink together as she hesitates to take a sip.[break][break]

"The only thing I have intact is my want to help Hoenn, Help Pokémon and people alike."

"Well... here is to trying to figure out who we really are," Razz says as he raises his cup of boba tea and taking a drink. Before he immediately spits it back through said straw. "And apparently I'm not a tea guy," he says as he uses a napkin to wipe the taste off his tongue. Least he had the money to waste on tester food like this. [break][break]

Meanwhile Salem has already taken a piece of his cake to munch on. [break][break]

"But I get what you mean with the whole helping Hoenn thing, its why I joined the Rangers in the first place, what of you? You think being part of the Elite Four will help?"

She cheered when Razz prompted her to, laughing when he takes a sip and doesn't really enjoy it. "Did the tapioca surprise you or something?" she asks trying to contain her laughter a bit. [break][break]

She pauses for a moment, savoring the taste of the milk. As she pondered what to say "I had hoped I'd be able to make more of a difference honestly. But after how that meeting went...im not so sure anymore." she comments as she overhand picks up the drink and swirls it around. [break][break]

"The distaste everyone has for each other in that room is...very apparent." she replies. "illeana reyes and FERNANDO SILPH. Sénon Game and dahlia goode. Hell, people could probably tell im still uneasy with MATIAS SILPH." placing her drink back to emphasize her next point. "How are we expected to be better than rocket and better the region if we cant even talk without insulting one another and taking pot shots and undermining one another?" [break][break]

The frustration she was feeling was becoming more evident by the moment. "I think it might just be better for me to do my own thing and just support when im needed. Getting involved in the group dynamic seems impossible to navigate."

"Yes and I don't think I care for it's texture," he explains to her as he is scrapping off the taste from his tongue with his teeth. He's just going to go with the safe option of water next time. He tells her as she admits her doubts about making a difference. Though he would admit he felt some of the people's distaste of each other admittedly he didn't pick up on it all. "Can't really say I have an answer to that, but I'll admit sometimes just taking things into your own hand is much easier to ensure results, I have a few projects myself I do on the side," he admits to.
