"I can't take the pressure....I'm gone beyond repair...."
Aftermath Pt. 1 (Elinor)

Amor would bring up his good wrist, the one that had his HoloWatch attached to it, and he would speak a simple command that would bring up what appeared to be a battlefield from some very distant past. Though he didn't comment on it to begin with.
"I wouldn't work for them, for one. Trying to change them from the inside is admirable, but you will die from the poison before long. Take this battle for example. An army is completely surrounded by their enemy on all sides with their backs up to a cliff. Quiet literally the same position as you for all purposes." It was in this lens that Amor viewed the world, it was all just a battlefield, and the way you positioned your troops was the exact same as positioning staff, or employees to do your bidding as far as he was concerned.
"But miraculously enough they weren't entirely destroyed, because an ally army that was on the outside managed to relieve the pressure on them by attacking the enemy forces from behind. It's quite the battle honestly." He explained to her before he clicked the map away, and looked at her again.
"Without any form of support you are going to die, but that is where I come in." He sighed as he leaned up in his bed, and pulled the covers away as he forced himself to stand up despite the absolute mess he was. The right side of his body had been seared by the Dragon Energy, and was wrapped up, the pain was immense since it quite literally happened.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." He stated to her, and he became deadly serious. "I am willing to do anything to achieve my goals. And for the moment you are part of that equation, there is only one other faction in Hoenn that can take on the League, and perhaps turn the tide in your favor. How I am going to get in contact with them I haven't a clue, but I'm going to join them. And in doing so I'm going to exert pressure on them from the outside, and allow you to work your way through the poison on the inside." It was in the end simple math to him. He would use Rocket as a means to an end, it wasn't uncommon.
"Do you understand what I am telling you?" He wouldn't say it outright so she would have some plausible deniability if she was questioned, but she was intelligent enough. "We're going to work together so that you can achieve your dream, but the real question is, do you have what it takes?" Because as of this moment he didn't think she did.
"Because if you're not willing to die for what you want, you may as well give up on it now." And that was the harsh reality he lived in, and survived.
