A simple question, water was also a good place for bugs, since most liked the environment around water. Looking around, her nose wrinkled as she sniffed. Smelling some sickeningly sweet scent, shaking her head. "Sweet Scent or a flower-pokemon.." That was mostly to herself.

water-types and fishies are among the very few things in life theo actually loves. he's never found a problem with sharing that with people. it is his passion, after all.[break][break]

sniffing, theo catches the same SWEET SCENT as vileplume hops into the scene only to be it with a quick DISCHARGE from the galvantula. easily, he tosses a pokeball over.[break][break]

The word 'fishie' was not what this woman expected to hear come out of this man. In fact, she was so stunned she had not even realized the pokemon had broken out of the pokeball she sent after it. Blinking a few moments, before shaking her head. "I see."

It wasn't until Fancy was busy using Sleep Powder on the annoyed cricket to soothe it down. With that done, she tossed another ball at it in annoyance, but she was now back to focused on Theo.

"Will have to try it sometime, it's almost like bug catching."

A motion to the bug. "It can be tricky, or lucky. ?Most bugs are erratic in their movements, so spooking them will send them racing off. A good example of this is Sunkirt, it usually flees."

And a perfect example came. A large firepede!

"Then you get these angry ones." It was a very angry fire bug, readying to flame them- until Fancy used Sleep Powder and the bug fell, with a ball being tossed towards it in the process.

there's no set approach to catching bug-types, then, the same way there isn't one when it comes to fishies or any other types. they all have their own individual personality that trainers would just have to simply adapt to.[break][break]

or if they're uninterested, simply ignore them. like what theo does to the cherrim.[break][break]
