A brow rose at the name. "Never heard of that or been to that region.. huh." Now what bugs did they have? She might have to start looking into that now, for that fact only. Though Dione glanced at the stranger more, before stepping back to give space. She already felt like she was intruding and out of place.

"Should go be a ghost gym leader or somethin'." She half teased. "But fuck the league." An eye roll.

"Not many do." There was a motion of her hand, as she drew closer to the woman. Mostly for safety in numbers and what not. "My dad was a marine pokemon biologist... lost him to the sea. But before he was gone, he gave me a Dewpider. Made me love bug types sense." A shrug.

A brow arched at the sight of the now strange crocodile. What in the hells was that? She had never seen that in anything she's ever seen or read. But soon it was in the ball, she was scratching the side of her head. "Hey, what is that?"

"That's a fair point."

She said, pausing as she had half pointed at him, with her other hand on her hip. Thinking more a moment, she hummed then scratched her cheek. "Though, if I had to choose only one type of pokemon to take with me to survive with, it would be a water type."

Could provide water, then could find something else to eat off of.

"It is getting late, I'm not holding you up, am I?"

Questions, so many questions. But it was fair- she was being heavily impatient. Mostly, it was her concern for the pokemon over these questions. He was helping her, so she could not be to angry about this. Any help was appreciated.

"I'm Dione, I fund it by doing odd jobs around Hoenn, it's just... not enough." She muttered, nothing was ever enough. Last thing she wanted to do was go to a loan shark, since the last one she spoke too offered her some rather. Distasteful. Payments.

"I'm sorry if I seem very rude, it is just very stressful."

Dione did not care at the moment. Walking inside, she went to wherever Mint pointed her to for the items he did have. Shame was clear on her face, that she was failing this pokemon. Setting it down gently, she looked over towards him. "..." Silence came, as if she did not know what to say, or felt embarrassed.

Without another word though, she returned to the paras. "This is going to hurt buddy, I'm sorry." she whispered, snapping off the rotting mushroom, getting the tiniest shriek from the bug. Gently she applied the numbing gel and offered the painkillers. This might be able to subdue the pain at least for now.

THen came the honey, to try and give it a little food.

Finally facing Mint now, she glanced down. "I don't have the equipment. I fund the place myself... I need better medicine."

It wasn't unheard of for people to be in a forest. No.

But did it still startle Dione?

Yes.

The woman jolted, arms blocking her face as if it was some split reaction- but seeing nothing coming from her, and it was a simple gesture of help, she collected herself from her encounter. "Uh." Well she felt a little embarrassed, but her attention was caught as Fancy had found herself a few playmate. A butterfree. Dione tossed a ball towards it.

"If you want, think it'll take Arceus himself to fix this damned thing."

Dione grunted as she set up the hammock within the trees. This was beginning to get on her nerves. But she was here to observe how the bug-life in this area went about and what lived here. So she needed the hammock to just chillax and let the bugs do their thing!

But this damn hammock was proving to be smarter than her. The woman groaned, throwing her hands up and letting it all fall to the ground. "Stupid piece of crap." Huffing, she crossed her arms. She felt Fancy land on her head, the Villvilon nudging her gently. "Oh, don't start. Not like you can do it, either."

Fancy trilled, flying off in a little pouty moment.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Poison is another good type." Some bugs she liked held the typing.

"Fancy is always with me." The motion to the butterfly. She watched as the spider snatched up the snake. It was kind of runny to her to see.

Looking up in the trees, she noticed the owl, looking half asleep. "Cute." She said, mostly to herself, and for Theo to take notice.

"Ah, yeah. Dealt a lot with keeping them out of my moms garden as a kid, so not overly fond."

Fuckers hurt when they bit you, even the babies! So she would star as far away from them as she could. Though she did enjoy learning about their poisons, that part was always a interesting subject, since some bugs were poison too.

"Got a pokemon you always keep on you?"

Dione did seem to flinch away from the snake. They gave her the heebie jeebies too much! A shudder ran down her spine at the thought of one in her house. Even at her distain though, she would welcome the creature if she one day got one.

Soon though she noticed the onslaught of flowers making themselves known. Seeing the bellsprout running frantically away from the pointy partner that was chasing it with glee. Dione smiled at it, it was honestly quite cute.

"Thanks. You want either of those?" She didn't.

"There you go!" There was some excitement in her voice. Grinning, she noticed something she had been looking for. The other pede! Would be a great pokemon to travel on, too. So she was going to get right to that. Usually they were docile, as long as a nest wasn't near by or the mother was here to trample people trying to get their babies.

Following Theo's tactic, she went to one knee and offered a berry. The pede zoomed over, gobbling it right out of her hand. A ball followed, giving Theo a thumps up.

Dione looked about offended when he asked about the nets. "No. Those can damage fragile areas of the bugs. Butterfree's wings are not meant to have something they weighed on them. Any bug type, really, with wings shouldn't be caught in a net. The safest way is with balls, so you ensure no damage is caused."

A glance up to a little fungus amongus came up, smiling as she motioned to Theo. "Give it a try."

"Ah, well."

A little smirk spread over her face. "I run a pokemon rehab, mostly I specialize in bugs." A little shrug there. "Always been drawn to them, had a nack as a girl being able to collect 'em."

A casual toss of a pokemon, to let out her Villvilon, Fancy. "She was my first pokemon I ever befriended as a kid."
