She hears the footsteps of another before Dione speaks. As if on cue, the shimmer of a pink ghost phases through stones at the base of the mountain. The Frillish’s tentacles brush against the tops of the tombs as if it is dusting them. The pokemon’s delight is broken by the sudden PSYCHO CUT of the Spectrier that suddenly appears.

Caution? Lex smiles, turning to face the Rocket, “I do hope that is the case,” the more ghosts the merrier. Lex tosses an empty pokeball towards the fallen Frillish.

Oh, they seemed to appreciate the ghosts. Very well, who was she to judge? She had so many bugs, after all. But she did seem to frown. "That's fine, but be respect to the resting places." That's all she would warn, many people got overly defensive when their graves of loved ones were messed with.

"Wha-" she now was taken back by the horse. Tilting her head to the side curiously. "Beg your pardon, but what is.. that?"

Lex retrieves the pokeball with the Frillish, tucking it away in her back pocket while the stranger lingers. Having done its duty, the Spectreir lingers as well. A ghost hoof scrapes against the rock as it approaches the redhead. She rests a protective hand on the equine’s ebon side, “It’s a Spectreir,” she forgets it’s not a common sight, “There’s not many in Hoenn . . . but there was a time when they began to appear in quite the number,” she hasn’t heard of one appearing since. Even when they were appearing, they were quite selective.

Another ghosts appears, creeping up from behind Dione with a mischievous grin across it’s sealed lips. Spectreir phases into PHANTOM FORCE and reappears to strike at the Banette. A pokeball quickly follows.

The Spectreir is quite the sight to see. It truly is a beautiful creature; a blessing Lex often takes for granted. There aren’t many in the region but there are certainly more than her own.

“Yes, they’re quite beautiful. And powerful,” she adds, after the display of aggression towards the Banette. Lex retrieves the pokeball and give the equine a pat on the rump, “I found them here on Mt. Pyre, actually,” With Killian Decker, though Killian’s has since disappeared.

Lex smiles as the ghost pursues the sentient sand playing near a gravestone. War stabs it with another PSYCHO CUT and lex follows with another pokeball, “That’s putting it lightly,” she scoffs, agreeing with Dione’s sentiment. If it wasn’t for her Shadow Gardevoir, she’d have a much harder time keeping her little ghost army in line, “But they are amazing,” she whispers, tucking the Banette’s pokeball away and moving to retrieve the Sandygast’s.

Lex picks up the pokeball to tuck away with the others. This was already proving to be a successful trip.

“There is,” she confirms, turning back towards Dione, “Shedinja, it’s a rather interesting creature,” she had recently seen one on the trip here with THEO BECKETT, “Do you like bugs then?” she asked, assuming so since that seemed to be of particular interest to her.

“Ghosts are fascinating,” she simply states, “And I don’t know. I’m just . . . drawn to them. We have similar personalities,” loners, keeping to the shadows, stealth. They were very useful in her line of work.

Suddenly, the tombstones shimmer with crimson writing, shifting and lifting out of the ground and forming into a Runerigus. It doesn’t quite get the chance to finish its MEAN LOOK. The equine intercepts and strikes by BULLDOZING right over the ghost type. Lex tries to catch it by tossing an empty pokeball.
