[attr="class","jayden"] the sudden scream shocks jayden, wondering if it's coming from his ninetales. when he looks at the battle, however, he only sees the the ninetales being barraged by little dreepies.

[break][break] like maggots, they worm it's way into the pokemon's pelt, nipping at it's site. the ninetales bites at open air, trying to rid itself of the damage.

[break][break] "don't get distracted," jayden commands. "attack!"

[break][break] a SHADOW FIRE bursts forth from the ninetales, in a frantic effort to burn the tiny dreepies, as well as it's parent.

[attr="class","jayden"] a punch slams into the ninetales, throwing it several feet away. pain swells in it's cheek as it clambers to it's feet, and they shift their gaze away guiltily at the the disappointment flashing through jayden's gaze.

[break][break] the admin sighs. "unfortunately not. they used to be, but the machine used to make them was far from consistent."

[break][break] the shadow machine was a far-off thing; to jayden, at least. he was sure that his mentor would know more.

[break][break] "perhaps, unless we can find necrozoma again."

[break][break] sun shimmers in the space as DROUGHT is activated. krsnik leaps forward once more, flares shooting out in the form of WILL-O-WISP.

[attr="class","jayden"] the sucker punch is a good move and fast; it slams into his ninetales, pushing the fox backwards. a furious snarl rips from the pokemon's mouth before he leaps forward and a spiraling inferno in the form of SHADOW FIRE explodes, encasing the other in hot white heat.

[break][break] when the smoke clears, his ninetales stands victorious over his opponent.
