Fortunately for the both of them, Gavin hadn't been caught.

He spies the Vivillon before he sees its trainer, approaching from the rooftops. A Dhelmise assists in his descent, lowering its anchor from where its blood-coloured seaweed hooks along the lip of the roof.

"Where's our cargo?"

He steps down, no sound but for the whisper of seaweed on brick as the Dhelmise retracts itself around its rusted anchor. There's an unsettling menace about the Pokémon, but it makes no moves of aggression toward Dione or her Vivillon.

Gavin checks his phone, frowns.

"They should have been here by now."

Gavin's brows arch.

"I do not."

There was no Dhelmise quite like the shadowed specimen that lingers nearby, but he didn't possess a shiny member of the unaltered species regardless. His other Dhelmise was perfectly ordinary, save for its connection to the Sygna Suit.

Watching the seaweed slip through the hole, Gavin cautions, "Careful. That extends further than you'd think." Depending on the temperament of their cargo, it might try to throttle them.

Thankfully, he doubts the Dhelmise will want to part from its anchor.

"They are incredibly heavy. We may need to get creative."
