[break]Something about being outdoors, beneath an open sky and surrounded by endless trees, calmed her. She disliked feeling confined in any way, and walking here gave her a sense of independence that never lost its novelty, no matter how many days she walked here with her Pokémon. Today, that companion was her Vivillon, Petunia. The butterfly flitted to-and-fro as golden leaves fell in a gentle cascade of wind, sunlight glinting off the gossamer of her pink wings. "I'm surprised you seem to like this weather," Elisabeth commented, amused, and the Vivillon hummed noncommittally. "It's a bit cool out for you, isn't it?" Autumn was quickly fading, and winter fast-approaching. The branches that had once been teeming with colorful leaves were now nearly barren, and many Pokémon were beginning to slink off to hibernation. Which made the sight of the ursine silhouette in the distance all the more surprising. [break][break] [break] |
