Hideo's "Sylveon" lifted the Pokeball up with its tendrils, depositing it in Hideo's hands. Unnecessary, but Hideo wouldn't deny the gesture.

"Yeah, that's gotta suck. People dunno who to blame for all the weird stuff happening in Hoenn, so they blame the people they think are supposed to deal with it. Doesn't make much sense, but it's what they do." Admittedly, he wanted an answer to who - or what - was responsible for all these strange phenomena, but he wasn't gonna rush and blame the people trying to solve those issues.

Another Reuniclus floated by, investigating all the strange noises going on in the cave. The moment it locked eyes with Hideo's "Sylveon", it immediately knew something was off - and rather than get closer, it floated away as fast as it could.

"Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if some of that is Rocket trying to rile people up. They're crazy enough to try and sabotage the League when they're trying to get rid of the Meteor, so I wouldn't be shocked if they're trying to make people riot so they can pull stuff."

Between what Eris Halla told him and what he'd witnessed at Littleroot, he didn't have the highest opinion of Rocket at the moment.

kyle walks over to where he got the slowpoke to pick up the ball caught in it. from the waters, he sees a wailmer sticking out, it's blue skin popping out without the sky's color being reflected on an indoor body of water.

must have been trying to fish this, he thinks.

he directs his salamence into the water and points him to the direction of the wailmer. maybe it had washed along from the ocean and got stuck inside, or maybe some other instance made it so, but it's clear that it didn't belong here.

"they probably knew disrupting a single point wouldn't matter much since we have a lot of backup set up all over the region," he responds. "whatever their end goal is, the stuff they're pulling better be worth changing their 'revolution' stance for."

kyle shrugs. whatever the reason was, it's a waste of time trying to think about it right now.

the wailmer gets defensive under stress. it attempts to shoot at attack on the salamence, but not before the pokemon retaliates with his own. a dragon breath on the water-type's face interrupts it, and kyle takes the moment to throw a ball.

that should keep it from living its life in an enclosure too small for it.

"i like this rocket more though. at least it's enough to get people who joined their cause for fun out of their ranks."
