Naturally, Eva was very concerned about Josh when they landed. The putrid smell of vomit made her nose crinkle but it was nothing a doctor wasn’t used to. Eva shed her helmet, letting fall to the ground as Rayquaza rolled away to rest, “Josh are you-“ she words were cut off when the Master of Faster hit he ground.

Eva herself was quite dizzy, but her strength was bolster by the serpent’s giving her an edge over the gym leader. Josh would find himself in Eva’s office, lying comfortably on the couch with a little blanket, Blade the Gallade having safely moved here to rest once Eva made sure he was overall ok.

It didn’t take long for him to explain the data. As a scientist, of course it fascinated her, “This is great data! Thanks for collecting it,” she marveled at numbers until Josh presented her with a . . . badge?

Eva blinked, staring at the item before gently picking it out of his hand, “Oh wow, Josh I-“ she really didn’t think she deserved a badge for this, “T-Thank you,” she settled on accepting the gesture rather than fighting, placing it neatly on her desk to add to her small collection later. Eva wasn’t one to challenge gyms, but over the last two years a few leaders had presented her with badges in situations like this.

“I will, don’t worry,” she assured Josh Rayquaza would know of his gratitude, “There’s a taxi waiting for you – can’t have you flying around in this state!” she would be relentless getting him on the taxi rather than on a pokemon. Sorry Master of Faster, Doctor’s orders!
