i should've known by now it was over

[attr="class","main"] to be honest, jayden had never considered it. not rebounds, not relationships outside of rocket, and certainly not how muscular priam conrad was.

[break][break] "twinks?" he echoes, confusion fills his gaze. his gaze is glazed with alcohol, but even sober, jayden might not have known what that was anyways.

[break][break] "i don't know if i have... a type," he says, lips twisted into a frown. he thinks about that night he spent with jackson barrett, who was as unlike Chu-e Choi as could possibly be. but those are two entirely separate types of relationships.

[break][break] "i didn't even know i was in love with him, until it was too late."

i should've known by now it was over

[attr="class","main"] maybe it was the alcohol, but with every word dropped out of bryan delarosa's mouth, jayden found himself falling deeper into a pit of confusion and misunderstanding.

[break][break] were twinks peoples? types? jayden's type?

[break][break] bryan's explanation of his past experiences was one that jayden could relate to. in that way, he supposed, they were both similar. he had never fancied the company of others in any way that was not simply temporary — especially for those that did not exist within rocket, there could never have been a future.

[break][break] "priam's good," jayden nods with understanding, though envy swirls in his gut. he wished he could have found someone as neatly as bryan delarosa did, but that only proved his earlier point. priam was good, and bryan was too. time passes between them, and jayden found himself feeling the dregs of sleep; he leans against bryan, chin drooping along their shoulder.
