a bit of a walk? how big is this apartment complex? surely not huge considering it's in ever grande, but it certainly is surprising.[break][break]

the complex was pretty huge, considering it housed many of the league's official or other members of the oligarchy. ollie would've gotten a much cheaper apartment - fancy wasn't really his thing - if the ranger board hadn't given the offer to him.

[break][break] "oh not really that long. less than a year, definitely. actually, i was doing some ranger work in kalos before i came back. though that was before the barrier went up."

[break][break] evergrande had never really been ollie's choice, but even he had to admit it was a fun place to be. he wasn't sure if he could have be shoved away in a forest like petalburg or fortree, and while swimming was fun, he wasn't sure if he could deal with all the chaos of slateport. he supposed he had Laurence Anderson to thank for that — or whoever it was that put him on the assignment.
