Remiel nods, wondering if this isn't all just some brave face Isaac is putting on for his own benefit. Even so, he knows better than most that sometimes pretending to be something you're not leads to being the real thing. The lad, at least, seemed to maintain a strong sense of morality that most Rocket members lacked. So he had faith in him.

Again, the royal prince nods when asked if he's already made up his mind. Silent gestures bode well in an environment where eyes and ears could be hidden, especially with such sensitive information. All of this was still new, after all. He could not yet fathom how or when Rocket would strike first.

"It's an ever-changing situation," The ambassador responds. "You plan what you can and wait for the rest to unravel before reacting to it. But you needn't worry about me, Isaac," He adds, putting on a brave face of his own with a smile. "I'm no stranger to change."

With that being said, however, Remiel claps his hands on his knees and sighs. "Well then, my friend, I suppose I should be going now. The draciary calls." He adds, rising from his seat and extending a handshake.

"Are you... going to be alright?"

He took Remiel's hand and shook it, knowing damn well that the next time they could met may be on far worse terms. There was no way an admin could quiet quit Team Rocket without Walsh taking umbridge. This wasn't a situation like Johanna Joy, where there was potential backlash that may not register in full. This wasn't a situation like last year's intel leak, where the damage is already done and any retribution was just self indulgent retaliation. Remiel was a new, active threat, and Walsh would answer in kind.[break][break]

Isaac had no interest in harming the man, but when it was the season for treason, fence sitting became a risk of its own. Isaac would need to protect himself, as well as the people he loved both in and out of Rocket. If that meant joining the hunt when ordered . . .[break][break]

He could only hope Remiel would feel his intent during the inevitable clash.[break][break]

"I always end up alright eventually," Isaac said, a soft smile on his face. "You hang in there too, okay? I'll catch ya later, I hope." Except, if anything, maybe Isaac hoped that he wouldn't.

There is, of course, a cost that comes with cutting out the tumor that is TEAM ROCKET from his life. To others— the simple-minded, brainwashed, and bitter— that cost was his life. But, strangely enough, that wasn't what came to the forefront of Remiel's mind. The cost he had to pay came with losing dear relationships he had cultivated for years.

It was a cost that came with faces. The faces of those he'd used to justify being a part of the organization. And, perhaps, it is for the reason that Remiel gazes at Isaac's for a moment longer than usual before departing that private booth...

He never wants to forget them.
