A little devil lurks within the bamboo forest. Somehow it manages to hide behind the narrow stalks. Remiel's Falinks catches glimpses of it here and there but fails to catch up to it. They instead take a defensive formation (IRON DEFENSE). Eventually, the IMPIDIMP makes the mistake of attempting a FAKE OUT and failing at it.

With a powerful MEGAHORN, the Impidimp is rendered unconscious. Pulling out a Luxury Ball from his pack, Remiel crouches down to tap it against the little gremlin.

he points up at the sleeping komala, then tosses a pokeball up at it. it disappears in a flash, pokeball stilling shortly after.[break][break]

leavanny leaps up to retrieve the pokeball, making it up and down with ease.[break][break]

A sneaky OSBTAGOON stalks them from the bushes. The troop of Falinks protecting Remiel are tantalizingly round. The perfect playthings, it thinks, dropping into a predatory crouch and preparing a TACKLE as its eyes dilate.

When it finally leaps out and strikes, the one misfortunate for being targeted screams and panics. His brothers eventually step in to help, however, engaging in CLOSE COMBAT with the badger. Only when it falls unconscious, releasing its clawed grip from the Falinks' face, do they realize they've also beaten up the very brother they had stepped in to protect.

Remiel chuckles, pulling out a Luxury Ball from his pack and casting it at the badger for a capture. Afterward, he also pulls out a potion spray to heal the Falinks that had been caught in the crossfire of their chaotic and spontaneous tussle.

he stops, turns, and clicks his tongue. his leavanny leaps overhead, charging in to swipe its LEAF BLADE down at the shape to reveal a purrloin. it GROWLS, hissing only to disappear into a pokeball.[break][break]

it's the only warning he'll give his lurantis.

They've reached the edge of the bamboo forest at last. Standing in their way, however, is a surly CACTURNE. It LEERS at them and extends its needles. This is an unexpected showdown.

Naturally, Remiel's troop of FALINKS step in to defend their master. Though the Galarian is surprised when they make the first move for once, pouncing on the Cacturne for intense CLOSE COMBAT. A few of them get thorns on their sides for sure, but eventually they emerge victorious.

Remiel is sure to follow up with the toss of an empty Luxury Ball afterward.
