ONE MORNING it is surprisingly cold. a small frost develops on the ground, despite hoenn's sunny climate. as you visit your garden to access the grounds, you see a pansear, surprisingly restrained from devouring the berries, heating up the ground. the frost melts against the monkey's gentle flames. the pansear peers back, seemingly not done with his self-sworn duty of frost removal.[break][break]

Thomas races outside to the grounds in order to check on the Berries. It is a surprisingly cool morning in Hoenn, to the point where the ground is frosting. Aside from his usual garb, Thomas is wearing a zip-up hooded sweater over his upper body. But as Thomas is prepared to assess the potential damages, he sees a Pansear. But rather than attempting to go for his berries, the Pansear instead focuses its attention on defrosting the grounds.

"Thank you, little one!", Thomas calls out to him, as he peers back. Thomas offers the Pansear a treat as a gesture of thanks for his help. Whether or not he chooses to take it, Thomas looks to the creature. "If you need help, I have an Arcanine that can assist you. Would you like that?", he'd ask the Pansear.

As Thomas was sitting outside, looking over his garden, he would spot a Florges sauntering through the area. He was able to tell from the coloration of her flowers that this was not the one he owned. Thankfully, rather than try to attack his garden, the flower fairy would instead give it an aromatherapy treatment, which seemed to be good for the berries growing in his garden.

Thomas would search for a suitable treat in his bag, before pulling up something that worked well with his own Florges. Thomas would slowly and calmly approach the creature, offering her the treat. "Please accept this as my humblest thanks for your generous assistance.", Thomas told the Florges.

THE GARDEN HERE is well-maintained. organized. wonderfully clean and pristine thanks to the owners' efforts and the chesnaught that presides over the property. for this reason, a minccino has been attracted to the plot. using her tail, the pokemon sweeps helps out, clearing stray debris and litter--- and berries too.[break][break]

As Oscar is tending to the garden, he would spot a Minccino approach the area. At first, the Chesnaught didn't blink, considering that the Pokemon in question was owned by Thomas. But upon seeing the way she swept up the area, the recklessness that she employed, compared to little Minty, the Chesnaught began to worry. He would approach the little one, in order to correct her. But before he could, he would see the real Minty dash in.

The two Minccinos would get into a heated argument. Eventually, the two would get physical, with the wild Minccino attempting to slam into Minty, only for the trained Minccino to sidestep the attack. Upon landing on the ground, Minty would aggressively capitalize on the new opening, ruthlessly Tail Slapping the wild Minccino. Despite her best efforts to get up, the Minccino would take the full beating from the Minccino.

After another harsh cry from Minty, which took even Oscar aback, the wild Minccino ran off, crying. With her competition out of the way, Minty looked to Oscar, waving to him sweetly, before finishing the job, avoiding the berries with each sweep of her tail, as she had been trained. Oscar could only blink, and give an exasperated grunt, before continuing on with his work.

The gold and black dragon's entrance would immediately arouse the attention of Oscar, the resident caretaker of the garden. The Chesnaught would stare up at the bladed dragon with an intense glare. Immediately, the Haxorus stormed at the Chesnaught, attempting to leave a First Impression with a quick and brutal strike. Oscar, being ready, raised his forearms to form a Spiky Shield, which the Haxorus would ram into, blocking off the attack, and pricking the dragon's body in several places.

As the beast stepped back, Oscar followed up by launching a Leech Seed at the Haxorus' body, causing a life draining growth to wrap around his body, while avoiding wrapping up his limbs. In a fury, the Haxorus performed a Swords Dance. Meanwhile, Oscar would Bulk Up, flexing his muscles and getting ready for the onslaught.

The Haxorus would charge at the Haxorus, delivering a Dual Chop to the Chesnaught. The armored Grass-type would grunt in pain as the blades slashed at his body. Staying his ground, the Chesnaught smashed the Haxorus over the head with a Hammer Armed strike, flooring the Haxorus with the mighty blow. As the Haxorus attempted to get up, the Leech Seed would sap life out of his body, just enough to the point where the tusked beast would collapse into unconsciousness.

Thomas would race outside to see Oscar standing over the newly felled foe. "Good work.", Thomas told the Chesnaught, who gave him a thumbs up. Thomas would examine the beast briefly, before deciding to capture it.
