As Oscar was tending to the garden, he spotted a stranger wander in. An off-color Hattrem seemed to be frolicking in the garden. On one hand, the Chesnaught was tempted to call for his master. But on the other, he wanted to leave the creature at peace. That was, until she started to wind up for a Brutal Swing. The Chesnaught got ready to take a beating to guard the crops.

The Brutal Swing never came to pass, as an arrow shot the Hattrem. With a cry of pain before dropping into unconsciousness, one could see that the spectral arrow clearly didn't hit her fatally, and was easily treated. The source of the arrow, a familiar Decidueye in the distance, looked over to the discolored Hattrem. Thinking to himself that such a catch would please his master, Clint pulled back another arrow, and fired. This time, it was attached to a Pokeball, which absorbed the Psychic-type on impact.

Brutus rushed outside as quickly as he could manage to. By the time the garden was in view, Oscar was already knocked unconscious, and the Doduo responsible was helping itself to his master's berries. His face contorting into rage, Brutus Bulked Up, before charging towards the Doduo. Launching himself towards the two-headed bird with a Bullet Punch, the Pangoro followed up the attack with an Ice Punch. Before the two-headed bird knew it, the icy fist collided into her body, causing her to let out a pair of squawks, before falling to the ground unconscious.

As Brutus grabbed the unconscious body of the Doduo, a group of Audino rushed to aid the unconscious Chesnaught, attempting to heal and revive the beast. They berries could wait until their master got home. What mattered was making sure their friend was okay.

During the day, a lone Impidimp would skulk through the property, towards the garden. The mischievous fairy would attempt to make his way towards the growing berries, attempting to get a snack in. It wasn't the berries he was actually after, but to piss off the owner of the garden. Seemingly, the Impidimp would make it past all of the Pokemon within, including all of the Audino, which made him sick to his stomach. How the hell could those living punching bags be so happy, he thought to himself.

Upon making it to the garden, he would see that the guardian was not alone. With him was a Scizor, who glowered down at the Impidimp, a bloodthirsty grin on his face. For a moment, the Impidimp paused, wondering if this was a good idea after all. Realizing he could salvage this, the Impidimp attempted to sway the Scizor with Fake Tears.

Not at all swayed by the display, Ripper charged the Impidimp, attempting to bring the pest down with a Bullet Punch. The Impidimp attempted to feign a lunge in an attempt to make the Scizor flinch. Only, the attempt came too late, as the Fake Out failed to take, and the Impidimp was batted out of the garden, and onto the wider property, sprawled out on the grass and unconscious. It wouldn't be long before one of his Pokemon would carry the Fairy off, detaining the Impidimp, and leaving him for Thomas to deliberate on.

As Oscar tends to the Garden, he'd spot something creeping through the area. The blue and green lizard, despite its best attempts at stealth, was easily spotted by the Chesnaught. But rather than outright call out to the intruder, the Chesnaught took a moment to pretend that he wasn't seeing the Drizzile, allowing it to continue to creep, until he would turn his back on the Chesnaught.

That was when the Grass-type would lob a Seed Bomb at the Water-type. The attack came quickly, the Drizzile being hit by the Seed Bomb from behind, the hardened seed landing square on his head, and knocking him out. From there, other Pokemon would investigate, and carry the Drizzile off to the containment area to await Thomas' decision on the creature's fate.

Of course, upon seeing the captive Drizzile, Thomas would choose to take him in, even if it was just to offer him training, before sending him off to a new master.
