Another week, another trip to the Safari Zone. He has more “shopping” to do, after all. What is today list’s? Simple:

- Another Darumaka for his collection (to evolve).

Of course, potential changes can be made, but it’s with this list in mind that Mars steps into the Safari Zone, this time accompanied by an Unown. Unown-X, in fact. Xero, who is definitely one of his favourites… largely in part because of the adorable way it often marches by his side instead of floating.

Such a favourite that he had even given it a TERASTAL CRYSTAL recently, that crystal itself is what they’ll put to the test today.

A Darumaka is soon found, and Mars is quick to get to work. It won't be the best Pokémon on which to put Xero's new abilities to the test, but perhaps that's precisely why it is a good choice to start off with.

Bringing the TERA ORB out of the pocket of his coat, he gets a feel for its weight in his hands, and its then that he looks down at the symbol by his side.

"Okay, Xero, are you ready?"
[break][break]
Unown are perhaps the only pokémon with which he'd bother in asking, and in response, the symbol raises one of its top appendages. That's all the response Mars needs. The TERA ORB activates, steel and crystal coating Xero's dark body.

"TERA BLAST." He commands, having seen the move in battle before.
[break][break]
It's not an immediate knockout, but after a short struggle, the power of Terastellization seems to win this battle.

A TERASTELLIZED Unown sure is a sight; a plethora of colours being reflected off its crystal coating when touched by sunlight. Unown will always be at their most powerful when in groups, but doubtlessly, a single one of them can do a lot of damage, especially with tools like this one.

Seeing the potential, a smirk tugs at Mars' lips, knowing no praise needs to be spoken for the symbol to know what he thinks. He keeps on walking, Xero marching by his side, and thankfully for the Chingling that levitates nearby, it's not deem worth the fight...

Cute as Scorbunny may be, none of them will ever be as cute as Unown. That's just how it is, okay? Mars loves his small, adorable, endearing, mysterious, often unsettling, arguably creepy little patrons, and that means that there's no pokémon in his book that is better.

The Tatsugiri are so small that they can barely be seen on the partially snow-covered ground unless one is looking for them, but so happens be that Mars is looking for them. Standing by the edge of the stream, he looks down at the ground, and lo and behold, there is one.

Like an axe falling upon its victim, Xero's STEEL TERA BLAST strikes, blasting the smaller pokémon back. However, the Tatsugiri braves the attack, and soon enough find themselves they engaged in a fight.

Weirdly enough, they don't spot any Cutiefly until they almost reach the Safari Zone's exit. It's Zero that sees it first: flying up in the canopy of a tree. He points upwards, showing Mars the sight through their psychic connection, and at that moment the banker smirks.

"Alright, go after it."

With the smallest of hops, the Unown takes off, breaking contact with the ground and levitating upwards like a balloon. Xero is unique in the way he prefers walking, but that does not mean he can't levitate when he wishes, even with his CURSED BODY. The Cutiefly meets the symbol's strange power, soon falling victim to it.

Naturally, Mars has a Safari Ball ready for the capture.
