FOUCAULT the AMPHAROS stands guard today as Remiel returns to his fishing spot for more TATSUGIRI. The SAFARI ZONE seems to be teeming with them, as of late. He hopes he'll come to find another variant today.

Foucault, in the meantime, meanders about in the surrounding forest. He's looking for tasty berries to eat. Nevermind that he was fed well just about an hour prior.

Foucault finds a dancing DARUMAKA in a clearing nearby. It puts on a performance with its BELLY DRUM as it bounces around. When it finishes and Foucault doesn't clap, however, it provokes him (TAUNT). A ZAP CANNON at point-blank range immobilizes the little gremlin afterward, and the Ampharos drags it to its master after.

Remiel seems more amused than surprised by the offering. Casting a light shrug, he pulls a Luxury Ball out from his pack and tosses it at the Darumaka. Foucault beams, then returns to the forest to see if he can find any other new friends.

The Ampharos finds a CHINGLING next, hanging from a tree branch in the forest. It tries to make friends with the little bell and finds great success at first. Though that eventually dissolves when the Chingling YAWNS and bores him.

Not wanting to fall asleep in its presence, Foucault waves the Chingling goodbye before exploring the forest elsewhere. If there weren't any interesting friends to meet, then perhaps he could finally find that berry bush he was looking for.

Foucault comes in contact with a rather precocious SCORBUNNY next. The mischievous little rascal appears determined to reach Remiel and FLAME CHARGE him into the water. Just as it shoots off with its fiery feet, however, a ZAP CANNON is fired and meets its mark.

Remiel turns over his shoulder when he hears the Scorbunny collapse on the ground behind him; paralyzed. With an amused huff, he reaches into his pack for an empty Luxury Ball. He then taps it against the bunny's head for a swift capture.

The Ampharos finally finds his berry bush, but PANCHAM hurries to beat him to it. It casts a PARTING SHOT at Foucault as it then greedily devours as many berries as it can stuff in its mouth. Angered, the Ampharos charges in with the sweep of a DRAGON TAIL.

The little cub stands no chance. Afterward, it is dragged unconscious to the ambassador fishing nearby. He takes a moment to pull an empty Luxury Ball out from his pack and tap it against the Pancham's forehead.

On its way back to the berry bush, Foucault is assaulted by a CUTIEFLY. The latest scuffle with a Pancham had left berry residue on the Ampharos' tail. The Cutiefly STRUGGLE BUG's in an attempt to reach said residue and eat it.

Rather unceremoniously, however, it is struck with a ZAP CANNON and blasted backward into oblivion. Foucault then continues on his merry way.

The TATSUGIRI in the lake finally bites. Remiel reels it in nice and slow, willing to be patient as it tires itself out in the water. Just as it draws near, his Ampharos returns from the forest nearby with a belly full of berries.

Suddenly, the little dragon-fish leaps from the water and casts a MEMENTO on said Ampharos. It then lands at Remiel's feet unconscious. Feeling a little worse for wear no doubt, Foucault nonetheless manages to endure as his trainer pulls out an empty Luxury Ball and casts it down.
