An intense heat suddenly fills the canyon passage they're traveling through. None other than a MAGCARGO crawls in their way before long. Standing behind his Galarian Slowbro to beat the heat radiating from this slug, Remiel issues his command to put it down.

A powerful WATER PULSE is all that is required to douse its flames and put a stop to it mid-YAWN. Pulling out an empty Luxury Ball from his pack, Remiel approaches its smoky body afterward. Then he tosses said ball for a swift capture.

The next wild Pokémon they encounter isn't nearly as aggressive as the previous. A TORKOAL is found meandering through the canyon passageways as it billows out CLEAR SMOG from its shell. His Galarian Slowbro dares to poke it... after which it falls onto its back and plays dead.

Remiel narrows his eyes on the turtle. After tapping it with the tip of his boot, and seeing that it appears dedicated to pretending its dead, the ambassador pulls out an empty Luxury Ball from his pack. He then crouches down to tap this ball against the Torkoal's forehead.

nidorino is a reminder of the past, of how he had once trained one all the way to a nidoking only for it to be used as a weapon. a tool to do rocket's bidding. the guilt no longer exists but it did for a while there.[break][break]

Fires erupt from cracks in the earth like hellish geysers. Remiel finds himself sweating profusely in such a hot environment. His Galarian Slowbro, on the other hand, seems perfectly fine. It even takes a moment to SLACK OFF as its master catches up.

When a SALANDIT crawls out from a crevice between rocks, however, Remiel swiftly takes notice of it. It ENDEAVORS to spit some smog in his direction. Whether it was territorial or simply playing a joke, the prince reacts by quickly stomping down on its tail. It yelps and scrambles to get out from the clutch of his boot.

In the end, Remiel calmly produces an empty Luxury Ball and captures it instead.

A wild NIDORINA pounces out from behind a rock to try and seize the Salandit that Remiel had just captured in its jaws. When the prey disappears within a Luxury Ball, however, it feels slighted. So it aggressively attacks the prince with a TACKLE.

Thankfully, the man's Galarian Slowbro is there to blast the Nidorina aside with a powerful WATER PULSE. When the steam subsides, the two find the wild creature collapsed on the floor and unconscious. The prince retrieves an empty ball from his pack to cast it for a capture.
