Remiel is out exploring ROUTE 111 with his twin brother's mischievous and scruffy little GALARIAN MEOWTH, THORGRIM. Despite dreading the cat for some time, since receiving it all those years ago as a 'gift' for leaving Galar, the archaeologist had grown... accustomed to it. Though he still wasn't entirely uncertain that his twin brother hadn't given it to him to sabotage him in some way.

Nevertheless, today Thorgrim seems fairly docile. As Remiel excavates the side of a mountain, however, the sound of the chiseling and the exposure of dolomite rock seems to attract some fairly territorial ROCK-TYPE Pokémon.

Well, he certainly wasn't expecting one of the largest dinosaurs that had ever lived. Nevertheless, proud and rambunctious Thorgrim takes up the challenge with glee. Remiel, in the meantime, heads off to take cover as the AURORUS launches a ROCK THROW.

Tanking the hit with little damage at all, however, the Galarian Meowth charges forth before flinging itself onto the Aurorus' face and striking it with a METAL CLAW. This attack proves super-effective, causing the dinosaur to wail before casting Thorgrim off and running away through the trees.

An even larger and more intimidating opponent appears next: a RHYPERIOR! Thorgrim giggles with delight as he HONES CLAWS. The rock titan, in the meantime, huffs with mild amusement before charging forward with a thunderous TACKLE and a roar.

The METAL CLAW that collides with that tackle is quite something to see, however. It absolutely shreds through the Rhyperior's armor before sending it staggering off to the side. Consumed by sudden fear, the titan flees.

Thorgrim sniffs at the 'tree'. It does well to remain completely still in the face of this scruffy cat. This scruffy cat, however, is oddly persistent and just plain... weird. Eventually, the SUDOWOODO loses its nerve and strikes with a HEAD SMASH.

Funny enough, it only manages to daze itself against the Galarian Meowth's steel forehead. The gesture is, of course, returned with a rock-tearing METAL CLAW. The Sudowoodo then collapses unconscious. Afterward, Remiel catches it with a toss of an empty ball.
