Decidueye stands on guard, but there's an agitation to his grip on the branch beneath him. He keeps shaking his head as if trying to find something, or make sense of something.[break][break]

Stormy has arrived late to her slightly overripe berries. They're plump and dangle heavily on the boughs of their plant, but she quickly finds herself yanking her fingers back as an acid sprays across the leaves. They wilt almost immediately, and she scoops her precious berries before they, too, may fall victim to the attack.[break][break]

Something buzzes by her ear as she folds the berries into her bag, and she blinks in surprise as a Vibrava continues to lay siege on her garden. Or is it?[break][break]

Was there something else running amok through her garden? It seemed the Vibrava was hunting for something. [break][break]

Decidueye seems to locate the perpetrator as the strange dragon Pokemon settles on a low-hanging branch. The moment her wings stop buzzing is the moment Stormy's garden guardian strikes. With a

spirit shackle

into

leaf blade

, the ghost-type makes quick work of his target, ensuring that it won't be able to do any more damage to the garden.[break][break]

Stormy captures it quickly if only to prevent Decidueye from doing more damage than necessary.[break][break]

Like in the wild, life finds a way. And it's violent and terrifying.[break][break]

The Silicobra is only able to spray one round of hot sand upon the delicate leaves before she is immediately descended upon. With fury and rage, the Decidueye grabs hold of the snake with her talons and lays siege. The snake Pokemon screams in surprise and pain as she is thrown from side to side, scales bleeding.[break][break]

It's Stormy that ultimately intervenes and rescues the serpent, raising a gloved hand and intervening with only a few frantic wing-beats to the face. Spitting sand and feathers, the woman kneels next to the battered and abused Silicobra, offering it a more calm and friendly hand as well as a pokeball.[break][break]

"This is why you don't attack the plants, man. You get your ass beat."[break][break]

The Silicobra is too overwhelmed and exhausted that she doesn't fight Stormy in the slightest - she's not sure she can even feel her scales or body at all right now.[break][break]

For a long time, Stormy stands by the edge of the garden, arms crossed, observing. Her lips are pursed and her eyebrows knitted together, transfixed and deep in thought as she watches a Boldore approach. It seems to use some sort of force, changing the way that GRAVITY obeys logic. It plucks a few berries from their stems, devouring them ravenously.[break][break]

Perhaps she was more surprised that they even ate berries - or ate at all. They were just rock formations with a pair of weird beady eyes. [break][break]

Before the Boldore can pluck a few more, a dark shadow lights down from his perch. A SPIRIT SHACKLE and a LEAF BLADE makes short work of bringing the wild Pokemon to its knees. With a groan, the Pokemon falls unconscious and leaves Stormy open to collecting him in a Pokeball.[break][break]

The woman examines the damage to her garden and deduces that it's nothing to worry about - there was plenty to go around.[break][break]
