Because it still doesn’t feel right, does it? No. It doesn’t. Despite the persistence of FEAR, though, it drives him to selfish behavior. He wants to leave with little issue.[break][break]

He doesn’t know these people, he has someone to get back to. Complying with Matias is probably better for him. Even if he doesn’t really think Matias would harm him, or something.[break][break]

Even if the idea of fabricating the context of the circumstance makes his stomach twist up in knots. Anxiety crawls under his skin, turning his nerves to live wires.[break][break]

He can’t look away from them. He swallows hard, and then nods ever so slightly. “We were attacked…” he murmurs, still staring pathetically at everything laid out in front of him.[break][break]

“Doesn't really sound like I’ve got much choice in that,” he answers slowly, sullen glance shifting away from the contained group and back to Matias.[break][break]
