Even as their swarm of Pokemon handily dealt with incoming attackers, they just kept coming, more and more flooding into the room until the group was effectively surrounded and attacked from all sides. Just as before - just as his time at the museum.

Had he not had a nightmare of that day the night before, he might've been able to keep his focus. But that reminder only returned to the forefront of his thoughts, filling his mind with the fear that the same thing could happen again - that he could lose one of his Pokemon in the chaos.

That he'd fail them again.

He barely even registered being pulled away by , his Beheeyem following closely, trying to repel any of the machines that got close as Melody sang. Even as their attackers gradually deactivated from her song, Hideo's heart raced in terror, his mind clouded.

Even once all their attackers were down, Hideo was still out of it. His Beheeyem, now free, took notice to Hideo's addled state. It approached the boy, its hand raised, lights blinking as it probed his mind, checking on him.

Seamlessly, it sent his mind a command: open your eyes. And as Hideo did so, the three dots on the Beheeyem's hand blinked in sequence.

Blink.Blink.Blink.

It wasn't the first time his Beheeyem had to do that, but at this point, it was a simple process.

Hideo tensed up for a moment, his body then relaxing. It took him a few seconds to respond, blinking a few times before closing his eyes once more. "...oh…uh…" the boy muttered, "We're ok. The fighting's over, right?"

Of course it was: everything was quiet now, apart from the heavy steps of his Pokemon. The whole battle was a blur to him - he didn't even remember letting out his entire team like that.

But before he could process that, got his attention, helping out with putting Soul Hearts in another pair of Magearna. Any confusion he had was pushed back as he focused on the task at hand.

Hideo Kino's grief over the loss of friends and his pokemon must be explored in some way.

If you have gathered TATTERED INSTRUCTION MANUALS 'TYPE FULL RECIPE A, B, C, D, E, F', your character will be able to piece together the formula to create the Synthetic Pokemon, TYPE: NULL. Creating this creature requires the cells taken from all Pokemon types and/or physical body parts of Pokemon.[break][break]

However, to create this Pokemon is a macabre and unethical endeavor. Feel free to explain how your character receives a TYPE: NULL in some other fashion, but do note that its creation is most likely rooted in the most reprobate and unprincipled of practices.[break][break]
