WHETHER IT WAS DISPLACED BENEATH LITTLEROOT DUE TO DIMENSIONAL ENTANGLEMENT, BROUGHT BACK TO FUNCTIONING ORDER DUE TO DIALGA, OR BOTH, can not be determined. However, this kingdom made entirely out of intricate mechanisms is void of human life. Clockwork gears, iron tunnels, and curious domes make up this kingdom that continues to function like an animatronic music box.[break][break]

Mechanical Pokemon like Magearna, Volcanion and others present in the kingdom seem to be robotic, set to a rhythm or programming like an animatronic figure.[break][break]

Several clock towers loom above the entire kingdom, though their machinery seems to be in disrepair.

This is the same Volcanion that destroyed a humanmade tower and encountered Alexei Ivanov in an underwater cavern. You must win its trust in some way, for it is wary of humans due to an unknown reason, but perhaps related to the events that have transpired in this kingdom a long time ago.[break][break]

It guards several SOUL-HEARTS that it is attempting to repair. It will manage to repair two Soul-Hearts by chance as it transfers some of its INFINITY ENERGY to them, shortening the Volcanion's life with each fix. The Volcanion is doing this in an attempt to find the MAGEARNA it had sworn to protect a long time ago, believing itself to be the last surviving "knight" of the royal guard.[break][break]

Bringing two SOULLESS MAGEARNA to the Volcanion will allow your trainers to open a hatch on the Magearna's chest to install the Soul-Heart in order to grant it "life."

Melody woke up at the camp that CIAN MAHER mostly created. [break][break]

She woke up a little earlier than the others and decided to go exploring a bit. The main entrance to the castle was blocked off, the doors sealed tight..probably some mechanism.. [break][break]

However Cobalion was successful in finding a different way in, if one had nose plugs to get inside. Melody plugged her nose "Jesus CHRIST this place fucking stinks." she cusses as Melody tries to keep her nose plugged as much as possible. "Do any of you have a pokemon that can make it smell better here?" she says as she sat on cobalion's back and he carried her through the sludge. [break][break]

She made sure to keep patting him on the back to keep him motivated.

this camp would not look this good if not for his many hours in minecraft. he remembers in his most recent save with PENELOPE LIVY he had built a castle, though never quite got to the supporting buildings.[break][break]

"Mrrrggggggg."

Hideo groggily rose up, awoken by CIAN MAHER . Though he was usually an early riser, the previous night didn't give him very good rest; from the noises of the mechanical kingdom and its denizens, to the unfortunately poor dreams he had that night, he wasn't in top shape this morning.

Which was why Melody Miro had managed to get up before him - a rare occurrence.

"I'll be right there," he muttered, his mind gradually waking as best it could. The only reason he could catch up to Cian in a reasonable amount of time was his Beheeyem had a much better night, ensuring all of Hideo's belongings were together properly.

And maybe actually helping Hideo get up and out of his sleeping bag.

Hideo followed behind Cian, his Beheeyem following along. He recognized the scent of sewers the moment it reached his nose - fortunately somewhat less rank with the lack of creatures that actually used it for its intended purpose, though no less sludge-y. Though to that end, his Beheeyem was sure to keep him (and itself) floating over the sludge, keeping their feet clean.

"She really went straight into a sewer first? Not the first place I'd look in in the morning…"

Melody's whistling echo'd throughout the sewers making it easy for them to hear where she was. "Just whistle while you workkkk" as she continued. [break][break]

She heard the sound of clanking within the tunnels, she and Cobalion grew curious about the origin of that sound. She walked towards the source of it and found a bunch of carbink working in horrid conditions on these various coal engines. They all looked tired and exhausted as they had chains wrapped around their tiny bodies. "This is...Horrible..holy shit that song I just sang is ironic.." she comments to herself. [break][break]

Cobalion grew angry at the conditions these pokemon had been working in and grew angry within a matter of seconds. He drew his sword and immeidately brought it down on the chains that bound these pokemon to this place. "Cobalion WAIT!" she shouts as the sound of metal clashing would be enough to lead Cian and Hideo to her.

Hideo snorted slightly. "Smelly Melly. I'm gonna use that one."

It wouldn't take long for him to get the chance, since Melody Miro was making it easy to find her with that whistling. And that sound of metal being broken. And that sound of battle.

Oh dear. "Didn't take long to find the machines, huh?" Hideo mused aloud, taking out a Pokeball and letting out his Aggron. "Aaron, go help Melody out."

With a nod (and a look of disdain from the smell), the Aggron ran on ahead, his tough, steel-like body more than tough enough to handle the mecha-Tsareenas' metal legs.

And for some reason, Hideo could hear the sound of something flying past him? Multiple Pokemon, in fact, though the boy wasn't worried about them being a threat - his Beheeyem would keep him safe if they were. "What were those?"

The Tsareenas began to swarm, Melody was fighting them with her sword and cobalion was doing her part too but it was obvious they were quickly starting to have to go on the defense. Melody while she was better than before at sword play was still no master at the blade. [break][break]

However, a Psybeam cuts through the crowd of tsareena saving her just in the nick of time. Cobalion fends off several of them at once with DRAGON HAMMER sweeping some of them away, but for each one he knocked away, more and more would appear. "Hey guys!" She said trying to remain cheery despite the rather dire situation at the moment. [break][break]

More and more Tsareena continued appear from the walls as they were all threatened to be over-run. "We need to go!" she said as Cobalion suddenly cleared away several tsareena, revealing a stairway that lead up into the castle. "This way!" she shouts leading the charge away. They were headed towards the castle's inner sanctums.

the tsareena are no match for two hoenn gym leaders and an elite four. if anything, it's overkill.[break][break]

"they were a squad of killer tsareena. pretty cool really if you ignore...you know."[break][break]

the fact that one slice is all it would've taken to end any of their lives.[break][break]

they make their way through the castle sewers before coming up to a room. he moves the grate, then climbs up into what he assymes to be the bathroom. from there, they start exploring, eventually finding a couple of books.[break][break]

Fortunately, the mecha-Tsareenas were much less of a hassle compared to the Volcanion and Magearna swarms. "What flew by sounded smaller than a Tsareena. And less metal than the ones here."

Whatever the case, Hideo followed along. He had to recall his Aggron (too big to get past the grate), but he could feel some relief to get his feet on solid, non-mucky ground.

And a small study, it seemed, with several books inside. Hideo opened one up, a quick check with his hand telling him it wasn't in braille - so he'd let his Beheeyem read it over for him. "Elga's saying these are song books? He can't read the notes right, but he can recognize them enough."

He turned to Melody Miro . "Maybe you could understand it? I don't know too much about reading music either."

As the group wandered, Hideo's Beheeyem caught sight of a unique-looking room. One with what looked like a massive, gaudy chair. "...hey, I think Elga just spotted a throne room!" Hideo announced, "Wanna go check it out?"

They managed to get away just in time as the tsareena tried to continue to pursue them, but the hallway had collapsed behind them cutting it off for now despite the fact she could still hear clattering against the stone and metal rubble. [break][break]

She followed CIAN MAHER as they had seemed to find a study of sorts, it seemed like a composer's private study...Melody looked around, a majority of the things in the room were caked in a light layer of dust so she refrained from touching it. However, her partners in crime had seemed to found something interesting, song books? [break][break]

"Yeah here, give me...maybe it's a clue.." she say as melody took the book and began to study it. The way this place was connected to music...it made her uneasy...was this the song that had been playing throughout the kingdom? She ran her fingers across the page as she read it. But to her surprise, it wasn't that song. These even had lyrics to them. He attention was torn away from the book as Hideo's called attention to the fact they found what they believed to be the throne room. Melody followed behind them continuing to read the songs. [break][break]

Cobalion had followed behind them, silently observing as always as he spots an alarm above the throne and tries to warn the group but it was too late.

cian knows nothing about music so he's more than happy to pass over the books to Melody Miro, the more qualified person.[break][break]

but they don't stay here long. onto the throne room![break][break]

"woah..."[break][break]

it's a massive chamber that looks exactly like one would expect of a throne room. his gaze sweeps through the area, taking it in before focusing on two SOULLESS MAGEARNA in the corner.[break][break]

"there's like deactivated magearna over there."[break][break]

he walks over, and when he lowers to a knee to pick one up, it triggers a song-like alarm.[break][break]

"what the!"[break][break]

33 enter the throne room of the castle, which will summon song-like alarm. waves and waves of mechanical volcanion/chesnaught will be sent to deal with you before the alarm stops. curiously, the resulting mechanical scraps will be pulled back by a magnetic force.

Well, it was certainly one of the more pleasant alarms he'd had the displeasure of blaring into his ears. It was almost like a song with a proper rhythm and melody to it.

But an alarm was an alarm, and even with its volume, Hideo could hear the distinct noise of large, heavy, metallic Pokemon approaching. No doubt the machines that guarded this place - no doubt more of those fake Volcanions.

Dread ran through the boy's body; they were going to get surrounded very soon, and he didn't have any Pokemon on him that could teleport them out. Hideo was still for a moment, recollections of his time at the museum with all the Unown, surrounded by threats everywhere.

Where he lost Squeeze, his Ariados.

No. He couldn't let that happen again.

He retrieved all the Pokemon he had on him, letting them out all at once. His Aggron, Zeraora, Meagearna, Tinkaton, and Galarian Slowking appeared around him. "When those Volcanions start coming in here," he said, a grim expression on his face, "Break them. Don't let them get a chance to hurt us."

The Pokemon looked at each other, a bit confused by his display, but otherwise nodded. Once the Volcanions (and Chesnaughts) started coming in, his Pokemon were quick to attack, their sudden assault quickly taking down the mechanical attackers. Only his Beheeyem stayed back, keeping an eye on the boy.

But even then, Hideo wouldn't pull half-measures here: he took out his Mega Bracelet, the Aggronite on his Aggron shiny brightly as the Pokemon Mega Evolved - even if it didn't need that boost in power.

utilize mega evolution in an advantageous way.

Melody's attention was snapped away from the book when the alarm started to go off, she clung onto the book as she pulled out some pokeballs to fight off the impeding hoard comings towards them. She sent out her usual pokemon, he starter pokemon as they were gonna need all hands on deck. [break][break]

Her pokemon begin to leap into action and melody started to realize that this swarm was non-stop, for every machine they shot down another two would take it's place. On top of that the Tsareena's from earlier rushed into the throne room cutting off the group's exit route. Melody grabbed Hideo Kino and pulled him closer to her alongside the book. "Cian this is looking bad! I don't think I can bullet hell our way out like last time!" [break][break]

As she panicked, a small voice called out to melody. At first she couldn't tell where it was, but she'd look down at her hands to realize it was coming from the book. She stared at it and held it in her hands as she opened it and saw the song.. "withering incantation?" Wait, this place was influenced by music...could this be the solution? [break][break]

"Wither and decay."she said as the alarm short circuited suddenly and a new song began to play and the machines rushed towards melody, but she didn't stop as her eyes went dull. [break][break]

as she continued to sing, the machines would suddenly stop as bits and pieces of them all began to rust at once, continuing to decay and fall apart with each note melody sang. Once the alarm stopped the left over machines that had broken down and rusted were all suddenly pulledback, even the tsareena's by a magnetic force as Melody fell to her knees gasping for air as she drops the book onto the floor. [break][break]
