It's been a week since her last visit to the ranch, and since then, like before, thoughts of MATIAS SILPH never truly detangled themselves from her thoughts. Whether it be in flashes of anger or hurt, they'd rattle her body all the same, driving out all mentions of anything else.

She ignored his further accusations with a glare. They were right - painfully so - but she wasn't about to relinquish what little edge she still held onto.
