With only 's orders left fumbling in her head, the engineer nodded and made efforts toward the pointed direction. Left and right, the spacecraft clumsily maneuvered around the arcs of lightning. Flying was hardly one of Rory's hobbies, but thanks to a bit of simulation practice (flight sim 2023), survival in this world of electricity was still possible.

HER ROUGH LANDING JOSTLES HIM. only the white of his strained knuckles hold him in place. the uniform sound of their seat belts clicking warns him to make space and fernando is the first one off.

a ZERAORA joins him. it stretches loosely as they do a quick survey of their landing sight.

“clear,” he tries to whisper back toward them as the fulgurites buzz with latent energy.

he exits shortly after everyone else. it was a rocky landing, but at least still got them there alive. what welcomes them afterwards is an entrance blocked by a rock he couldn't recognize.

he walks up to investigate, but not close enough to touch it. it's crystalline in appearance and somewhat electromagnetic in nature as he noticed how his rotom's sparks interacts with it. with what they currently have on them, the only thing they can appraise about it is its appearance.

"whatever this shit is, we still need to smash through it and get in." he turns to since he's the one with the ultra beast. "you can do it, right?"

he would've asked and his zeraora, but figures he probably won't since he already made it known that he's just there to observe.

after a rough landing, he slinks out of the pod and calls his ultra beast back out, finding some sense of security underneath it.[break][break]

it's a crude way to put it but it'll do.[break][break]

after a nod, he watches his xurkitree lumber forward to throw POWER WHIPS coated in electricity that seems to counteract what surrounds it. it does not take long until it crumbles, giving way to them.[break][break]

just its name is enough to get the pokemon to react. it follows the XURKITREE’s lead, using its PLASMA FIST to chip away at the extensive fulgurite. furious strikes apply enough force for the more brittle sections to break off.

fernando is hesitant to touch it outright. the boot of his SYGNA SUIT taps on it lightly before he commits to picking it up. static sparks along its glass exterior. interesting.

“we’re running out of time,” he reminds them. the way the silica’s dying heat coincides with his SYNC STONE means they’ve stayed for far too long.

“we should head back.”

The woes of ultra dimensional travel weren't so easily shrugged off the shoulder. They were insistent - a ghost to which she found no escape from. Still, before Rory could move to agree, her eyes caught wind of a familiar figure rolling in from behind. Ground crumbled beneath its every step, and to her horror, its trajectory looked to be inline with their own.

"Do you think he followed us from back over there?"

The question was asked out loud, but mainly directed to herself.

It not only swayed its limbs with direct intention, the ultra beast of electrical cording looked to be tied to the woman herself. And instincts told her to react.

With one hand reaching to her side, she pulled out a poke ball and tossed it his way.

Whether it be the damage the beast had already sustained, or its inclination to follow their group, the capture was a success without much means of resistance. She looked over her shoulder toward the others.

"Yeah, lets get out of here. Please."
