The haunter at least proved to be a useful distraction for the most part as Callan devised a way to break them free of the grass knot that currently binded them. [break][break]

However what Melody didn't realize is that she'd be sacrificing her noble pawn pokemon. The ghostly figured was slammed into place as THEO BECKETT's
Psychic managed to not only hold haunter in place but catch it so off guard the Pokémon couldn't become incoporeal to get away. It's gas body continued to become more and more pressurized as the structure of the cave above haunter became unstable from the earlier dragon tail. Melody tried to react in time but it was too late. The haunter, restricted by psychic became crushed by the cavern's rocks and was killed underneath the debris. [break][break]

"HAUNTER! NO!!" she screamed as she lost another pokemon to this war against rocket. She balled her fist as magearna managed to snag a portion of it's soul to empower it's own strength from it's soul heart. "Magearna, charge cannon!" she shouts as she aims at the Milotic attempting to try and faint the pokemon in one shot.

Callan winced as Melody's Haunter met its tragic end, crushed beneath the debris of the collapsing cave. He knew he needed to follow up with an attack, but before he could react, an enraged Naganadel swooped down from above. Its fury was unleashed upon the battlefield, a shower of DRACO METEORS raining down on friend and foe alike.

Realizing the imminent danger, Callan grabbed hold of Melody and withdrew his Goldeen. "We have to go!" he shouted urgently. With chaos unfolding around them, he made a quick decision, shattering a mysterious ore in his hand. As it crumbled, a rift back to Hoenn tore open in the air.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Callan urged, pulling Melody towards the rift. They had no choice but to escape the destructive frenzy of the Naganadel and the now unstable cave that threatened to bury them all alive.

the CHARGE CANNON is enough to knock the milotic out. it slumps to the ground, deactiving his sygna suit.[break][break]

the appearance of the naganadel is troubling. it forces him to retreat as well.[break][break]
