the comfey around his wrist responds to his intent as a GRASS KNOT wraps itself around matias's ankle, shortly beneath the blow to his mid-section would land.

the will in the comfey's attack retreats almost immediately, shifting itself into a thin FLOWER SHIELD that catches matias's strike.

greyson shifts fluidly around it, another two rapid strikes aimed directly where his previously landed.
