Colton could feel Penelope over his shoulder, watching him as he worked. She'd see that he was starting towards putting it back together, replacing circuits and wires with Arti popping in and out of the circuit board to give him directions on what to plug where.

"I'll take your word for it," he said, shrugging as he worked. "But I don't think I'll have much of a choice even if it doesn't. The world's got getting any more peaceful if I'm just toiling away in a lab."

Colton paused for a moment, before looking back over his shoulder and smiling. "Well, if you ever need technical stuff done, don't hesitate to come and find me. Like I said, I'm usually in my lab. If you know Gunner Graves, he can tell you where it is in headquarters, specifically," he said. "I want to be able to do whatever I can to help and working on stuff is hardly even work for me."

Colton's fingers worked deftly as he carefully reassembled each part of the transmitter, each piece coming back together like a puzzle. As he began screwing the panels back together, he nodded at her question. "My door is always open. If you ever have any projects you need done, don't hesitate to drop by," he answered, giving a little salute with his screwdriver.

Once it had all been assembled, he flipped the power on, Arti zipping its way free from the object and repossessing the washing machine. Colton watched it for a moment, looking for any wayward sparks or weird noises that would indicate he'd done something wrong. "Okay. I think I can give this a seal of approval. Communications should be back up for this area."
