typically not someone who engages in PDA, the circumstances surrounding their being here is enough to warrant a different approach. he embraces her, taking in the scent of her hair, and squeezes her tight.

'i'm glad you're okay too.'

still, he can't help but feel like something was off. he, hesitantly, takes a step back, keeping her still within' arms length.

"i was just running PENELOPE LIVY through some simulations," his smile remains steady, though there's the faintest hints of a crack.

he's not one to ignore the signs when they were so clear, however. he reaches out, placing his palms right side up, as he drums the pads of his fingers against her palms.

his violet eyes focus entirely on her, a modicum of concern bleeding violet.

"is everything okay? like, really?"

he knows she isn't telling the truth, and he has to fight the small part of his mind that tries to reason out why she would lie to him. but, he trusted her more than anyone else, and found it easy to place his faith in her.

"here, follow me." he grabs her by the hand, pulling her gently along. greyson sends an impression of 'relax' to the delphox, and like his mate, he levitates himself to meditate.

"i found this.. anomaly? yeah, that's a good word, anomaly. it's like.. well, i'll just show you."

it'd take a minute to get there, so he fills that gap as best he could.

"how's ollie taking it? Eva Morales's and MATIAS SILPH's separation."

overall, the entire thing was just... unforunate. league's premier power couple, done and over, just like that.

but, it's her question that has him stopping, expression twisted in confusion, and concern. he steps in front of her, reaching to cradle her other hand with his.

"is that what you're worried about?" she clearly had something bothering her. was this it? "there's no way i'd be interested in someone else." he'd chuckle, if he wasn't afraid that it would downplay her fear.

but, he also knew that wouldn't be enough. she was looking for something. so, he gives her a straight answer.

"i would never cheat on you, or put you through that pain."

Greyson Connors sounds like he used to when he worked at his gym, just without the resistance to hanging out with her. she likes it, or she would under different circumstances. he gives her the opportunity to say everything that's been weighing on her mind and she can feel it in the back of her throat.
