Well, at least Elinor understood why most people would be adverse to taking such a stance against what had happened to Eris. She was still clearly irritated, but such was why Soyeon was emotional at times. Elinor did seem to not be too far gone from the realm of believing that she was crazy for wanting to make sure the two didn't get themselves into any more trouble, but that last tidbit did make her have to stop and ponder.

"That...they don't want to be saved?" Soyeon repeated, furrowing her brows in thought. It wasn't really something that she had thought of before if she was being frank. Who would take a look at the many conflicts in Hoenn over the past few years and say that nobody would want to be liberated from this? Of course, she wasn't going to admit this. Soyeon wasn't as prideful as most but that didn't mean that such things eluded her. "I don't understand..." she admitted to Elinor while sitting down on the floor across from her. The scientist's expression was almost perfect to be framed. The bitter confusion and conflict storming inside of her mind right now was palpable.

"Why would anybody, let alone a teenager, want to live like this? Isn't it your job as League officials to be trying to help and do just that?"
